  I don't mind Francis Mark becoming the clean singer, the fact that he can drum AND sing cleans and transition to screams in the span of 4 minutes without being bad is absolutely fucking amazing. He really is the guy that made me love the band, that was 2 years ago, while listening to Pioneers from the Holding a Wolf by the Ears album. What a banger !

  my uncle is a big metalhead and he had this CD Library (like 2 6 foot tall bookcases filled with CDs) so I'd go over there get get recommendations, hang out listen to music, get music history lessons from him . Anyway some time november 2003 he tells me he got Sing the Sorrow and I could Borrow it, I think at that point id seen Girl’s Not Grey on MTV and was like heck yeah, so I borrow it for the weekend and was pretty blown away. Fast forward to christmas break, my mom lived 2 states away and i was going to see her for the break and my dad gave me a good amount of money for christmas and the first thing i bought was this album. So i binged Sing the Sorrow for a 28 hour greyhound bus ride and thats a core memory for me.
