Years later, I look back and see the staggering number of views I have on this relatively low effort video, and I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'm very happy so many people enjoyed this little thing I put out into the ether, even if it took a minimal amount of effort. This game will always be special to me, I grew up playing it! After my dad remarried, I was given 3 wonderful siblings and a loving stepmom, and my siblings and I would play wind waker all the time together. We took turns of course cuz it’s not a multiplayer game. Wind waker will always be my favorite

I have seven siblings and the lot of us used to take turns on all of the Zelda games. I was pretty much the only one that couldn't quite get into the franchise, accept for this beautiful game. I don't know why, maybe it was the atmosphere, or maybe the music, perhaps it was both. Either way, this game will always have a special place in my heart!

I played Wind Waker on GameCube when I was between 6-7, I remember so much from this game. The countless hours sailing, not knowing what to do but it made it a real adventure, I did it and this game has given me a childhood. Going to the Earth and Wind Temple's made me seek adventure in real life, and I have sought it. The music, the atmosphere, the story and overall, the nostalgic value I hold within my heart is huge. I remember it was a fall day, I went to defeat Ganon and did, as I departed the game, I felt a part of me leave with it once the credits rolled. Being 19 now, it is easily one of my favorite games of all time, and is something more than a game to me, but my childhood curiosities.

I feel very nostalgiac for the fact that the only thing that made me intrested in legend of zelda was wind waker, it brings back so many memories

I want to say, I have no real nostalgic connection to this game beyond the legend of zelda generally. I didn't play the original when I was young, and while I played the sequels on the DS, I only went back to wind waker when I was much older and it didn't really grab me. However, this song, these songs have tugged at something deep within me. Not out of the emotions evoked through their connections to the game proper, but by their strength as music Independent from any other art form, the music itself is what moves me, and it moves me a great deal. It was only recently that I learned what part of the game these melodies came from outside the end credits, and it lead me here. This thing you've made makes me intensely happy. and for that, I thank you.

When your journey finally ends this is what you hear

This is a game I miss a lot. This was one of the best games out there for me.

This game helped shape some of my most precious and earliest memories in life. I would have been only 3 but I remember my dad coming home with this game and a Gamecube. I feel so old now. My dad and I would play this a lot when I was so young, and it always has and will remind me of my mom, we both have always had such an affinity for the ocean. This music is an explosion of emotions. No matter what age I live to, I am so grateful that I will always be able to look back on these memories. Can't wait to share this adventure someday with my own children.

Idk why but 5:00 onward made me just cry. This game was my childhood. The one I played with my stepfather before we lost touch. It was and still is my favorite all time game and nothing will ever replace it. Hearing it all just flooded me with emotion. I’ve come so far since then. Grown up so much. I was the one that played Wind Waker many times. There have been Many games that were and will always be special to me, but this is at the top of the list. And it will ALWAYS be there. I would literally do anything to play this over again, even if it's just one playthrough.

funny how this game became a beloved zelda game for us fans since when it first came out i rhink a lot of peiple didnt lile the cartoony cell shaded artsyle but its safe to say it grew on everyone, i love this game and its artsyle so much and I'm glad i still have my wii u so i can play this and Twilight princess whenever i want, this Skyward Sword, Twilight princess and LTTP are easily my top 4 Zelda games

Man, I demolished this game when it first came out and haven't touched it since, it really was a benchmark and a true staple to the Zelda franchise. I hope I can find my game disc for this. *Crosses fingers it's still in the console.

I was in second grade when this game came out. I loved it but the Earth Template scared me so much that my older cousin had to complete it for me. lol good times

Whenever I hear this it makes me want to cry and I have to restrain myself from doing it, I have to play this game right now

When my panic attacks begin to set in, I turn to instrumentals that are nostalgic and fresh, this brought me to a place of peace fast. So thank you for making this, it’s helped remind myself that everything is okay again.

One of the greatest games of all time

I love that putting the 2 melodies together you get clocktown theme, yet the feeling it gives is completely different. For Clocktown you get this lively yet filled with gloom music that really makes you feel something terrible is about too happen, yet with this melodies you get the opposite, something already happened but you get the feeling of hope for a better future.

Didnt get to play this game until i turned 20/21, even though i have been itching to play it since i was like 12 and man im in love so far. The world, characters and story are sooo charming, Im still at the beginning but im so excited for the journey that lies ahead.

The timeline that Wind Waker exists in is quite bleak and dark: Ganondorf returned and there was no Hero to stop him so the only solution the gods of Hyrule could come up with was to send a cataclysmic rain to hinder Ganon’s ambitions. It’s ironic how the bright colors of the game graphics and upbeat nature of the soundtrack contrasts the watery apocalyptic state of the world. What little left of humanity there is struggles to survive atop islands in a sea that provides no fish or sustenance. However there was always hope that a better future was achievable and that’s what this song perfectly encapsulates.

Pure, unbridled, childish joy. the Wind Waker HD was my first Zelda game when I couldn't even read. I remember looking on KZread for exactly this a couple years ago and being sad that there wasn't anything. It brings a tear to my eye to finally have this. One of my first videogames and one that will forever be beloved to me.

This is a beautiful edit, thank you. Brings me right back to some of my earliest memories watching my dad play this game in our living room, and singing along to this music with him. While it makes me miss those memories, time I will never get back, it always makes me feel hopeful for the future and gives me the feeling that everything will be okay. So thank you, edit is a perfect homage to Wind Waker.

This mix of these songs reignites my childhood where I'd play the sound tracks and make my family watch as I "conduct" these beautiful pieces. God I am so happy to have been born when I was.

Recently got a Wii U wind waker edition to just get a few last things before the eShop shuts down. I've obviously been playing this game a lot, because it came with the console, and the only similar thing I've played was a bit of spirit tracks on my 2ds. Otherwise, nah. I'm currently 13… and let me tell you, I have been having a blast. It's just such a great game (except for some a bit questionable things, like not being able to freely roam the ocean until the moment you reach tree haven, at which point all constraints are cut). Either way, it's just great. I haven't even owned the thing for more than a week and I've just built a bond to all these characters. Seeing link conduct his wind waker together with Makar and Fado playing on their funny leaf instruments, same with Medli and Laruto, is just so special to me. Hell, I've barely had any knowledge of this game except for a few things I learned through my now-dead brother a few years back, and also that one pirate ship smash stage that I never liked as much as the train one. Getting back on track now, I only just realised (like 10 minutes ago, when I first watched the scene with Makar and Fado) that the two songs are actually the title theme, I just had to check, if there was some sort of mashup, and sure enough there is. Man I don't even know why I'm writing this comment in the first place, but I think I really just wanted to say thanks. Thank you for making this.

Remember that wind waker link is not a reincarnation or a descendant of the hero of skyward sword. He just a kid wanting to save his lil sister and got the recognition of the goddesses for all his great exploit. The hero of wind is one that everyone can relate.

I plan to play wind waker for the very first time after I finish ocarina of time and majora’s mask. The soundtrack for wind waker sounds harmonious, which makes me excited to play!

I’ve never played this game, mainly cause I was born in a different generation. Didn’t really grow up with Zelda, either. But ever since Nintendo Land (Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest), I adored the story. When BOTW came out, I was super stoked! And watching these let’s plays do this game makes me want the game even more! On to my point. This song invokes such an adventurous feeling inside me. Like I’m actually a hero, and I’m important to everyone. Amazing game, amazing song, amazing franchise. ❤️
