I love Makar's Violin Practise, such a small moment in the game but the melody was so beautiful.

Ah, I see that a few Morths were here. Those damned spiky things always hit dislike on Wind Waker stuff. It's really because they're lonely, and all they ever wanted was for Link to take them along on the adventure. All Morths dream of seeing the sea.

Someone asked me the other day which Zelda game was my all-time favourite. I said Wind Waker. This music, and the memories that this music conjures up of all the times I played that game, more than justify that choice. Beautiful work; I found it very difficult not to cry!
9:17 Grandma 's theme always makes me tear up

Where was this video hiding all these 5years?!! THIS is the most beautiful and heartwarming orchestrated medley of the wind waker’s iconic soundtrack that I ever heard ! The instruments, transitions, songs..everything was perfect here I found everything I was looking for in a Zelda cover! I subscribed as soon as I heard those five first minutes. Amazing work honestly I’m in love keep it up ! (And may I suggest you do Mario galaxy 1 or 2 next that series has a really beautiful soundtrack too)

HighPriestFuneral Thank you. :3 That was my favorite part also.
*Hearing a small song filled with adventure... it fills you with DETERMINATION!
Wind Waker was one of the first games I ever played, and was the first game I ever beat! It feels like it was yesterday when Twilight Princess came out, for that matter, even though it has been over a decade. Man time flies. Wind Waker and Majoras Mask were and still are my favorite Zelda games of all time, with Link to the past being a close third. As for Wind Waker, one of my favorite things to do as a child when I wanted to goof off was to max out on my rupees and then go to Windfall Island at night to bid it all away, just to see the reactions on the character’s faces. I loved collecting rupees and exploring the map. And I hated Forsaken Fortress as a kid. That is, before you get your sword back. I could go on for many paragraphs about my memories in this game, but I won’t. Rebecca, you’re music brings me back to happier, more innocent times, and I think that’s awesome. :)

The thing is with this game that even on the GameCube it doesn't look like its aged at all that much that's why it's best for things to be colourfully presented, because it keeps the way it looked. fantastic orchestral rendition though I loved it

This is truly beautiful. I teared up not once, but twice during this medley. The first was listening to the opening haunting flute playing Aryll's theme, and the second was during Grandma's theme. I've listened to remixes and arrangements of Wind Waker before, but never anything quite like this. Wind Waker has always been my favorite (and first) Zelda game. Thank you so much for composing this soul-filling orchestral medley! I'll definitely have to check out your other remixes as well!! ^_^

+VidgameGuy Thank you so much. It warms my heart to read this. I've actually cried from happiness while working on these medleys before, hearing the music of my childhood coming to life in this format, and the act of expressing the beauty and joy it brought into my life in a tangible way- it can be overwhelming! The only thing more satisfying than making these is hearing about others experiencing similar feelings when they listen to them.

I keep listening to the intro of this so much. It is ...entrancing? Wind Waker is on my priority list of retro Zelda titles I haven't played, only Phantom Hourglass. I have however, listened to the music many times before and other arrangements, it is one of the game series whose music I appreciate. And your choice of instrumentation captures that freedom of the endless sky and ocean, no limits in reach. To capture freedom. What an odd thought. However. I am truly fascinated by the sheer willpower and sustained effort that went into create something so massive, it towers proud and unwavering over its musicscape like a Dragon, and I bow in respect.

Greetings you fabulous Earthlings and Happy Friday! 👋👽
Oh, the title theme is glorious! Ooo! I loved that little marimba-sounding section in the pirate ship theme! "Dragon Roost Island". Your arrangements are so lighthearted and fun! I loved how welcoming you made Grandma's theme. You did so great on "Farewell Hyrule King" and "Hyrule Castle", too! Of course you do wonderfully on "Forest Haven" and "Makar's Violin Practice"--you ALWAYS end up doing so well with the forest themes especially. The transition between them was just divine! Ah, and the Sages' themes! My brother used to get to Laruto and just sit there and fall asleep. We did not have ipods or a computer then, so he would have to get all the way there in order to listen to the song. And he did, quite a few times. You really did both Sages justice, along with the opening theme. This whole orchestral medley was so, so beautiful--too beautiful to properly display in words.

TheRemraz I agree with that statement about music unifying us. I was at the orchestra two months ago for Symphony of the Goddesses, and I just stared around in awe of all the people in the audience, all connected by their love of Zelda music and the series in general, all listening to the same instruments, occupying a similar head space. It was beautiful!

Thank you, too! I'm glad you enjoyed this! :D
It's a hard pick, but this has to be my favorite of your epic medleys. The last chunk gets me in the feels every single time, even if I'm in the middle of doing something else.

Thank you so much! ^_^ It's actually my favorite as well. Chrono Cross and Twilight Princess are maybe tied with it.
Wind Waker is probably my absolute favorite LoZ game as far as music. Spectacular! Thank you for this.
