Fun fact its the a link to the past Castle theme backwards with a crescendo..the composers sure had fun with this music.

First it was Zelda’s Lullaby backwards that gave us Skyward Sword main theme. Now Hyrule Castle theme backwards gave us Lorule Castle. Not bad. Thanks for the info! :) I never knew.

​@@masonengland306 An orthographic camera that views everything on an angle would give a similar effect without having to tilt everything, but in order to do that, it has to completely remove perspective. This worked for the ds zelda games where everything on screen was on a similar level, but dungeons in A link between worlds had places with several overlapping floors on different heights, all visible on the same screen. Places like the tower of Hera or the one massive cavern inside of death mountain would lose its sense of depth if lower levels did not shrink in perspective as you went higher up.

I love how the music gets more intense as you advance. This became a tradition with BOTW's Divine Beasts and TOTK's temples. This was an epic Zelda game.

It's actually a bit of a Zelda tradition in general with final dungeons, as Ocarina of Time's Ganon Tower and Twilight Princess' Hyrule Castle did this too

This game was pretty damn solid for what was supposed to just be an experiment to see how more freedom can affect the Zelda formula. I'm glad to see elements of it being implemented in the series today, and the escalating soundtrack is one of the best.

Skyward sword's skyview temple does this you first enter with tranquil tone and you get to the small room with the water and four doors you hear clarinet, and when you get to that big room you hear choirs!

Lorule castle is absolutely incredible. It’s my favorite soundtrack not in just ALBW, but the entire Zelda series. I love how it grows in intensity as you get closer to the Throne room and how your going to fight Yuga with the Master Sword and the triforce of courage.

@@zackerymoyano Nintendo went on a rampage and took down 3500 Nintendo music videos in one day. No one knows why but the original channel who posted this and a ton more Nintendo music (GilvaSunner) had almost all his content removed. It sucks.

@@ethanyoung9011 I saw that earlier today, really messed up my mood since I go to their channel a lot. Wanted to listen to certain Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess music, but they were taken down. Nintendo makes great games, but real shit decisions when it comes to the fans. Like, if you aren’t going to release the OST or make a good remaster of a game to your newest console (OoT and MM for switch), then don’t be pissed when other people do the work for you. There is going to be a OoT remaster made on the Unreal Engine which will release soon, I recommend to you that when it releases that you download the game somehow ASAP because Nintendo will more than likely take it down.

I did'nt play this game in years tbh, but unless there are some mini-boss / boss rematch in the castle (I have no clue tbh), then it's not related to bosses. (I fougth you meant the dungeon rewards in your first com, that's why I mentionned the paintings)

Damn, I forgot the composer pulled a full on funky mode with this one. So much weird tonality and tons of key changes, it's fantastic!

When I was in high school when this game first came out, I had downloaded this song to my phone. It was the perfect length for me to walk between the 2 sites of the school.

The excitement knowing you're getting closer and closer to the end! one of the best themes in the franchise

My first was twilight princess which is my favorite to this day

The fact that more layers are added to the song as you progress upwards and unlock more areas is absolutely GENIOUS to me, and i didnt even realise it was Hyrule Castle in reverse until a few years after my 1st playthrough

This game deserves more acknowledgement 😩. Can’t finished it with 100% because of the Cuccos game.

These people destroyed their own Triforce, to prevent its misuse, and their world is crumbling into a chaotic nothingness. Link's burden is never greater. He seemingly can't win. If he lets Hyrule die, he's failed as its hero. If he lets Lorule die, what will the gods think of mortals who would rather choose self-destruction?

Love to play it on guitar. Its just in A dorian, so nothing too crazy. Super fun song, loved it all my childhood.

Thank you so much for uploading this. I just finished the game today and it was as amazing as everyone says. Thanks to the comments below I learned that this is the Hyrule Castle theme reversed and that there was an awesome let's play of someone playing through ALBW that I must see.

A nice detail with this song, for every miniboss you beat in the castle, more instruments are added to the theme, making it more intese the further you get.

I love how intense this theme gets as it progresses, Nintendo paid for the whole orchestra l, they used the whole orchestra 😂 💙

I remeber beating this game in like 3 days right after launch, so I had forgotten all about it. And the things I do remember come from ALTTP. Glad I came across one of the OG songs from the game. Great song.

This game is soooooo good, this song in particular is just insane!

The 3DS really had some great original games. I need to play this one again. I remember 100% completing it years ago was a lot of fun, but now I've forgotten most of it.

I used to "speedrun" this game when i was like, 6. One of my favorite things to do was getting through the desert without shifting dimension, and then i learned that was a speedrun technique and just started doing it all the time because it made me feel cool lol. I miss the early 2010's.

This is not a metroidvania no where near it a Metroidvania is by definition a 2D game with a non linear exploration map Zelda is nothing like that at all Zelda is more 3D dungeon exploration genre then it is Metroid and castlevaina of exploration and that’s a fact iam just saying as correction Now if we talk about Zelda 2 the black sheep child THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND of the SIMILARITIES!!!
