That game with Luemro was some really something. Super strong 700 player. I loved how the plan morphed into pushing those past pawns though. Hat's off to Luemro. There was a ton of great learning in this episode but I still need work on that French defense stuff. Playing as white is really coming together.

I've been buzzing up and down in this series for months on and off, from around 1300 down to 700. I'm still losing way more stonewall games to stupid computers than I should, but I'm surely better than I would be at it. So, I'm curious: This is a very nicely put together gradual stepping up of instruction for this system, and Aman seems very authoritative when he talks about it. My question is, how would the Hambletonian lesson plan compare to how Magnus or Hikaru would explain the Stonewall? Like, would the "rules" and general guidelines be roughly the same for those guys up to a certain level, then disagree? If so, what would that level be, and why? feel free to discuss amongst yourselves

I like your videos but you lost my respect when you told the guy who hung his Queen and then you rearranged your pieces, then you say he f****** self. That's ridiculous because you tell people not to resign, how can the 700 player know that behind your Smurf account is a grandmaster. don't do this BS plz

  • @michaelkrailo5725

Never resign is a great rule to follow until it becomes so obvious that your position is a lost cause that it's more respectful to use resign button. The resign button is there for a very good reason and this is definitely one of them. But hey, if you believe you can flag the player beating the snot out of you, go right ahead and play on. On the other end of the spectrum, I hate when when players resign way too early. That happens a lot more often.
