Very impressive tournament Hikaru, thanks for posting! I'm curious - could 'looking on the chat window' be considered 'getting outside help' at all? I know the matches are going by very quickly, but it seems like having this could possibly be considered an advantage. We all saw what happened with Petrosian last week.. and obviously this is VERY different, but I'm curious what would happen if some people in the chat started offering help.

sony cameras overheat when you use 4K and also charge the cam while using it as the same time you can fix this by not using a battery inside the case with something like a external battery also if you have a flip screen extend it away from the camera body if none of these are a option using 1080p will also fix the overheating issue this applies to almost every A7xIII variation

I think I'm starting to understand Hikaru's play. A lot of the middle game is improving piece placement unless there is an obvious trick. Positional play with Tactical awareness. Pawn structure seems to be whatever restricts opponent's activity. So there is some prophylaxes with his play as well but well hidden. Players feel the pressure before they understand the why behind it.

Hikaru smashed carlsen during a high pressure speed chess final match whilst whistling, head bobbing and singing terribly. 0 calculation yet absolutely smashed Carlsen. Here, he's an NFL player paired against a collegiate athlete, struggling to grasp the situation, focused entirely, no singing, no dancing. Kramnik, I think, can log all these peculiarities into his upcoming Hikarus Hijinx: The Only GM Who's Base Chess Prowess Skyrocketed Since the North of Online Chess

1:07:50 Idk why, if this is a tournament in which he's playing to win, he doesn't like try to exhaust his opponent's clock by making quicker moves. It didn't need to be a draw, and even though he doesn't need to win hardly anything to make the cut, it's a little weird that he essentially ceded a game to his opponent when the game is timed -- the dude had like a minute left, and even if he got time back it wouldn't be enough.
