Willys Flatfender Jeeps Wheeling Rock Creek - Rausch Creek Off-road Park PA
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is BAM BAM following Bob Westerman and X98 on the Rock Creek obstacle in Rausch Creek Off-road Park in PA. Both jeeps are running the X98 5:1 Transfercase gears by Sim Products. Bob’s jeep has and F134 4 cylinder motor with T90-C three speed transmission and Dana 18 Transfercase with the X98 5:1 low gears. His crawl ratio is 92:1. BAM BAM has a Muncie SM465 transmission which couple with the X98 transfercase gears gives it a whopping 162:1 low crawl ratio. In this video BAM BAM is in 2nd gear low which is 89:1. Both jeeps are running 750-16 NDT tires which are 31” in diameter. This is what the X98 gears are made for. Real rock crawling.

Thanks Jeff. This is my favorite road surface.
How far do you want to go? Till it feels like we can't do it anymore! You are my hero sir!
Takes some concentration to plan out the line ahead. Deep gearing is key. Like you say, real rock crawling.
Looks like fun. Thank you for the ride along
Nice to see BamBam in action after the dunking, looks like you are warming up for the trip out west later this summer !!
Thanks for the ride Jeff it is always a fun one. It looks like one has to drive on that stuff their is no way to walk on it Paul
I had to laugh when X98 picked that rock up in the wheel well, I just ran Hell Hole trail (Near the Rubicon) this weekend and my buddy's Rover did the same thing. I've had it happen too, but I'm mystified by it always seems to be he right rear that does this. Hmmmm.

Do you ever post trail rides on the 2A page? I'm 2 hours from there.
