While Flatty's will never thought of as "fast". They sure are climbing son of a guns. The first Jeep that my Late Dad bought was a 1943 Willys . He paid $400.00 for it and at that price it didn't run but he got a trailer to haul it home on a spare windshield frame and a extra engine block. Sadly both Dad and the Jeep are gone. Dad passed away on Feb.15, 2019 and Mom passed on May 28, 2021.

You just earned yourself a subscriber good sir! This is what it's all about. Just rolling rocks in the backcountry with your buddies, not showing off a $100k custom rig. You guys are killer drivers, good on you.

Impressive, I seen many a fine looking newer model. That couldn't do that... I remember seen those adds in the back of Magazines. Saying you could buy a whole Jeep in a box for $25... Ever see those? Don

Hi Don. Thanks for your kind words. I've never seen those adds, but back in the 70s when i first got interested in cars, I liked hot rods. I mostly thought of Willys as a coup from the 40s built as a gasser. 😂

Ya, I always wanted a 32 Coupe or Sedan Delivery. Ha a couple chances, but didn't do it. In 92, I got a 1976 Chevy Blazer and I was hooked on 4 Wheeling. I'm getting old now, so watch the other guys do it... Don

Can you tell us what modifications have been done to these Jeeps to make them work so good?

Hi Todd, each of these jeeps are modified a little differently. My rusty blue one, Grampa's Jeep, is probably the least midified. Here's a walk around video of mine. Thanks for watching. kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4qJlptuiNDSZKw.htmlsi=062P22JEoejlOHab

Are the flags mandatory? If so do they sell them there?
@Grampas-jeep

Flags are mandatory at Sand Hollow. They do sell them at the state park entrance, or you can go to your local off-road motor sports dealer that sells side x sides and motorcycles. They usually have them with more fun flags.

I enjoy these videos but I am very concerned about your lack of proper safety equipment. Some of your rigs don’t even have a roll cage. Some don’t even have seatbelts. Or they’re not using them. I don’t care if I take heat for this but you’re setting a bad example with your carelessness.

I love how y’all prove to the new wheeling community that you don’t need 40s to enjoy the harder trails. 🥸
