Willamette River & Columbia River Spring Chinook Salmon

Спорт

Learn effective basic Spring Chinook techniques. First, troll cut plug herring behind Fish Flash on the Willamette with guide, Dave Steele. Then, learn to rig salmon catching prawn spinners with guide, Cameron Black. Watch the Classic episodes on NBC Sports NW Sunday mornings.
The bait heads shown in this video have been discontinued due to massive price increase. The Dick's Sure Spins are another great option.

I've noticed that Cameron Black releases fish really well. He gets on it immediately, no high fives or leaving the fish in the net while he chats with clients. Obviously he has thought about ways to improve his technique and get it done as fast as possible. Really nice to see a guide that clearly cares about the fish.

Great show Justin as always ! PEW is an “interesting” acronym but they have a good message that definitely needs to be considered. Needs research to support common sense, get local support, and international backing to slow the massive biomass harvests of the earths oceans to sustainable levels. What is the sustainable level for each species then who will enforce it with the rogue players???

Pew is a family name. The Pew Charitable Trusts funds lots of research and programs in many areas. The environment group is one branch and has had a positive impact on policies in several areas of fisheries conservation.

Millions spent by. Fisherman just to get less and less. Most river's in Washington st, only open about 50 day's tops then the cost for one fish in the Columbia. Per guide price, not worth it.i not pay over 200 or even 100 unless I go. By myself and for one fish again ask yourself is it worth it?

Your pissing up a rope, it's always over harvest and now pollution and high sea temps. If it wasn't for hatcheries you wouldn't have any fish and those guides will starve just like the AK Kenai river king fishery.

Not sure what you're trying to say. There's nothing anti-hatchery in this episode. When hatchery fish grow up in the ocean they have to eat just like wild fish. This is about food for fish regardless of whether they are hatchery or wild.
