  We used to snag huge carp in Moses Lk. WA in June during the spawn. Tie a treble hook on your favorite steelhead rod with no weight and hold on! Carp can really fight when they want to!

  01:50 I was just there yesterday fishing off my kayak and trolled small lures with very little success and no big uns. I did catch a few jigging but I believe you are absolutely correct on getting maximum flash and vibration going. I just went to the Macks Lures website and got some dodgers and flashers and lures. Thanks!

  Using electric reels somehow detracts from fishing. We used to call lings "lawyer fish." They're flat headed, ugly, mouth full of sharp teeth, and greedy. Perfect lawyer fish.

  We have an amazing fishery here on Lake O but man those kings don’t cut anything like west coast …I try my best to never keep em. Not worth it for white meat

  It really shows what alignment of public and private sector focused on sport fishing can lead to rather than letting a commercial fishery clean house or pretending healthy native runs will return. I'm all for conservation efforts, but solely hoping for healthy native runs is naive.

  Ahhh.. The Trask. Fished the 2 bit and 4 bit hole in tidewater many years ago. Hooked an at least a 35 lb er that I fought for 25 minutes. Got it near the bank where it turned on its side about a foot under water and the hook came flying out.
