Stop with the ridiculous bs, he’s been paroled 3 times and fucked up every time, why should he be given another chance to hurt more people earlier than he will if they keep his lame ass locked up for the max time. As soon as he gets out he’s going to continue getting high and beating up any woman who gives him the time of day. This clown is getting everything that’s coming to him for the crimes he committed against people on the outside and the folks he messed with and snitched on the inside. I was a ex gang member, served 17 years in prison between Illinois & Nevada, was a high ranking white gang member, in a black gang from Chicago, & had gang tattoos "i earned" all over my face, neck & arms, thankfully not as bad, & as much as this dude, but in 2014 i won a 2nd chance at life, & SEIZED IT, & been free ever since, I'm now a single father, have had most the tattoos removed already, & am just a dedicated single father. I was definitely someone, EVERYONE would think would not ever make it, but I've been proving all my doubters wrong for over a decade already, & am 49yo now & TOO OLD & GROWN to live this was anymore

I also would have granted the parole, it'll be interesting to see what happens. As you said, he's not violent and drugs seem to be his issue so if he truly does want treatment then I say give him a chance. I would have liked to know what his original charges were- I guess I could look them up- but he's done pretty much all he CAN to actually try to take some classes, he did the footwork to get accepted into the fairly long-term inpatient treatment, and he wants to get out of Utah so he's got a fresh start. Because he's not violent I would ask, "What's the worst that could happen?" and I would give him a chance at the inpatient treatment. I would actually parole him straight TO the treatment center-make that a condition of his release- if he screws up there he comes back and does the rest of his original sentence. If he successfully completes the 6 to 12 month in-patient rehab then send him to Spokane and keep a close eye on him. He only lasted a month last time but he was still actively using. At least he was working and it sounds like there was a scheduling issue of work that caused problems with his tether and he was afraid to call and let them know what was up. I've actually been in those positions and they suck, LOL. (Not a house arrest tether but something that was out of my control that I knew was going to get me in trouble. Luckily I handled it the way I should have and the consequences weren't as bad as I thought they would be.) I'm concerned about him going to Spokane with a drug problem simply because they don't call Spokane "SpoCompton" for nothing. If he wants to stay clean he can do it of course but Spokane isn't going to make it easy. As for the ink on his face, what the hell was he thinking? It's not even good artwork! Kid better go to school and get an education that will allow him to work from home 😂.

He will need a lot of professional help and guidance, to enable him to move forward, towards a much better future. I think one of the main obstacles to moving forward, will be his appearance. Those awful facial tattoos will of course be a major stumbling block, in gaining worthwhile employment. Tattoos can be partially removed by Lazor treatment, and will in time fade even further, but permanent removal is impossible, due to the depth of the ink.I wish him well for the future and hope he can put the past behind him. He deserves a chance.

@dgatsf Um what? Are you saying God gave him those tattoos? The Mark of Cain was given by God to Cain as a punishment for murdering his brother. Those tattoos were probably given by some guy with a guitar string, walkman motor and india ink in exchange for a pack of cigarettes. I dont see how the two things are related.

Poor mom - she’s not going to recognise her son 💔 ValleyEpic is a nonprofit- but not free and where is he going to get mandatory $50 Interstate Compact application fee…MOM! Then they’ll send him home for her to support. I’ve heard one has to change people, places & things to break chains…prayers for the little 3 year old link he’s leaving in Utah. I hope he’s successful. 🐢
