Right but with tempered glass it works a little different. I can see it both ways. Basically to break the glass you just have to put a lot of force in a very precise point, such as a ceramic edge

Glad you gents had fun but was hoping for more practical tests that really show cased the tools in use. Better or more zoomed view of the tools with product name and side by side demos of working product vs a non working one. ie; If your gonna use seat belt cutters, maybe actually strap in and use the cutter how some one buckled in may have to or how one point of a glass breaker makes the window explode while another makes it crumble safely if your rescuing infants or dogs from a locked vehicle. cheers

I don't think it has much to do with hardness. It has everything to do with the energy needed. The very small and sharp point of a traditional window breaker transfers the energy over a much smaller area and multiples the force exerted on the window. Hitting window in the corner is where it's weaker. Nice video!

It's not "safety film" but your correct it is called laminted glass which is made up of layers of glass and plastic that hold it together. The side windows are tempered glass which are very strong due to the process of how they are made (tempered) but they store a lot of energy so they will shatter into many small peices of glass that can't cut you

The super visor was hands down the best of the tools you showed us for several reasons. First it is always in your car where you need it, though carrying a secondary type is a good idea if you are prone to ride in other people's vehicles. Second, if you held it right it is just right to cut the seat belt and break the window without changing your grip. (if you really look at it, you can see where your thumb is suppose to go and a couple fingers into the hole that is made for index and middle finger to fit) And for a third reason you showed us that it was the only one that was quick to cut the seat belt. Your video was both intertaining and interesting, but I would suggest taking some time in preparation for your video to make sure you know how each thing is suppose to work before showing you test it in a video. Otherwise great video. 😁👍

Okay, the front windshield is two layers of glass with a layer of lamination in between. The side and rear windows are single layered tempered glass. The cheapest and easiest way to break the side window is to go to the hardware store and buy a spring loaded center punch. Just a gentle push on the glass and it is shattered. I used it while a police/emt many times and you can get one for less than $10 at the hardware store. As far as a seatbelt cutter is concerned, I just carry a high quality knife. Tactical shovel? Just a good old fashioned Army entrenching tool is the A-1 choice for me.

And sometimes the tool actually works like with the shovel and sometimes they will be like. "oh but did u notice how long it took" nd im just like "oh but did u see how little force u put into it"😂 that aside those are some pretty cool gadgets
