Great program. As Christians we need to know about The New Age movement because it creeps into the church... thanks again

"Come out from among them, and be SEPERATE, says the Lord." Too many "Christians" are more interested in finding out what they can get away with, rather than what glorifies God.

Thank you! I see this creeping into church, and in my faith based groups, I am quiet, then, gentle warning, then, I have to leave...thank you. Thank you.

I really appreciate Will Spencer's discernment and testing all things using God's word. He recognizes that nothing is spiritually neutral. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8, ESV)

Hey Jon, I am a relatively recent subscriber and listener to your regular KZread presentations. I wanted to tell you that I sincerely appreciate what appears to me to be your rock solid world-view and perspective on very important, spiritually consequential issues. I hope, and I pray that you will continue to infuse our culture with this Biblical influence. Furthermore, I appreciate the intensive investigative and preparatory work which goes into each broadcast. Thank you. Will's testimony of finally coming to know Jesus had me weeping.

A few years ago I read about a yoga studio owner who became a Christian. Because some of the yoga poses address Hindu deities, as well as the associations, she changed her poses and movements so as to get away from any appearance of evil, as well as not calling it yoga any more.

That's great to hear. Whenever I inform Christians about the paganess of Yoga, many get defensive.

"so many things that they took for granted, that they thought were harmless....." This is exactly the big problem: 'Christians' demand to know "What's the harm in it?", as if we mere mortals were capable of evaluating the eternal results of something. Instead, we should be asking the question that the Apostle John gives us: Where did this come from? OR, to put it another way, "Whose side is this on?" (1 John 2:16) But.... that doesn't work. If we seriously evaluate things on that basis, we'd have to give up a lot of stuff we really love, and, well, that's not an option, of course.

Makes sense why so many are attracted to New Age, in that they can manifest a reality to feel better about themselves, adopt a sense of victimhood, and therefore not deal with their sin. Thus New Age is a perfect tool by the devil to get sinners to look away from the cross and deceive them into being "happy" or at "peace" with the way they are. This system really fits the flesh like a glove.

Hi Jon Do you think if you heard this guy on another podcast sharing his testimony you’d be doing a show on how the gospel isn’t preached in charismatic movements and people are having weird visions that aren’t biblical?

Check out the book Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future by Fr Seraphim Rose. Written in the 80s, very prescient. Also the podcast Psyop Cinema has a lot of in depth stuff about programming in the entertainment industry.

Mountains and other artificial high places are a huge theme in Scripture that gets totally ignored today. Mike Heiser and his Book Unseen Realm address the unseen realm through a biblical lens. Gary Wayne and his Book Genesis Six Conspiracy also addresses a lot of this eastern mysticism bs.

Many people have seen visions of Christ when calling out to God. Especially Muslims. I remember listening to a public radio show where a Jewish woman told a story of crying out to God for help and truth and Jesus appeared. But she said she didn’t want to be a Christian. What I find thought provoking for me is Presbyterians are against images of Christ. Maybe we’re not totally right on that.
