I was just out of college when the “Christian Right” rose in the ‘80’s. I thought it was good for a time but then noticed it seems to attract every grifter imaginable. Christians need to quit falling for phoniness and silly euphemisms, which in many ways characterized that movement. Eventually that movement turned into big eva and torpedoed itself as the church growth movement moved churches hard to the left in a permissive and hollow appeal to customers. In other words, it became about money and power, and more people means more of both. To attract more people they expanded the tent by burying all the requirements of the gospel in favor of only its benefits. I say all this to say, please let’s not have another phony “movement.” We need an awakening.

There are capable men present but a women with a Seminary degree and PHD leads the small group discussion over the sermon. the question are provided by the pastor who preached that week. She is not a pastor and our Baptist Church agrees with 1 Timothy that women should not preach. However, outside the Gathering of the Saints on Sunday, does 1 Timothy 2-3 apply as do all the other texts on male headship?

Dispensationalism has so much to answer for, though if Chandler claimed to be Reformed he should have known better. He's right that the Gospel carries with it an expectation--a requirement, really--of sanctification. And sanctification includes, over time, an increasing confomity to God's will--his law. But dispensationalism is allergic to the idea that God's law might apply today, so he has to call it something different, and the unfortunate term he's chosen is "the gospel of the kingdom."

Idaho has the Boise metro area, which has generally been a centrist paradise, with many other parts of the State being deeper Red and more staunchly Republican. The Far North has *ahem, ahem* a bit of a reputation, even if it's not entirely fair. There are a large number of Evangelicals, Mormons, and Catholics who are deeply Pro-Life all across these areas; it's a good place to start a local, grassroots fight for the Right to Life.

When In the Kingdom of our Savior God , citizenship depends upon faith in Christ, he doesn't take into account lineage, the faith of the parents etc. Then in the United States ( god's blessed land, ) it would be wrong to say ,I believe, to LEGAL new or aspiring citizens that you're not really American, you don't have shared experiences ,roots etc. EVEN when they are committing themselves our laws , history, family values , freedom & liberty AND especially the protestant CHRISTIAN faith . However, in the recent past around 2019 or so(?), Ben Shapiro appears to have done a 180 and appears to now hold that state sanctioned marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Agree with Jon. Before and around Obergefell, Ben Shapiro did mention a few times on his podcast that there was state sanctioned marriage and God sanctioned marriage and that a state could define marriage differently than God (paraphrasing Ben Shapiro). However, in the recent past around 2019 or so(?), Ben Shapiro appears to have done a 180 and appears to now hold that state sanctioned marriage should be between a man and a woman.
I watched all of this video, man… I will never get that 2 hours of my life back. I understand that you don’t like Matt Chandler, but the fact that you don’t know where he falls on the book of Revelation… even tho he’s written a book on it and preached a 12 part series on it, is poor research on your part and that theme (not understanding where Matt Falls on most issues) spills over into most of this video. There are multiple things you have taken out of context and I wish I cared enough to spend the next hour or so rebuking most of which you had said, but I’m not willing to give you another hour of my time… you already have taken too much of it.
