    I’m in the process of creating a hub of resources to help ppl overcome the hurdles of having a felony/ life after prison. One struggle I had, and still have (in some areas) is having the passion and energy to achieve goals, and not knowing where to start. Also, there are so many resources available to us (ex felons) but there was literally know way of me knowing where or how to find them. When you get out of prison your mind is in a million places. You are literally starting over from scratch. I want to help these individuals eliminate as much frustration and wasted energy as I can. Giving them tools to come up with a clear plan. Prison literally conditions you to live an extremely structured life. Out here, in the “free world”, there is no structure. There is no direct path to take. You don’t know who to trust. I want to help them come up with a concise plan to not only survive, but thrive!

    Answer to the question, what I want to help people stop making the same mistakes I did after learning they have a "diagnosis" of osteopenia (low bone density) - freaking out and feeling fear, vs. seeing an opportunity to get stronger and healthier. Good question!!

    Thanks! Your content has been super insightful! Can I ask a question? I thought the way I could elevate my course idea is to provide cohort & 1:1 mentoring as part of a membership package, and this is because in my field there're lots of "hump and dump" video on demand courses that leave you fumbling in the dark in you can't crack their lessons on your own. But giving true value in contact time with me seems to slant toward launch models and I've loved the benefits of Evergreen model you preach. Is it possible to do what i've outlined in an evergreen model or does that only work with a trad launch model?

    I would try coming from a place of adding value to their life and not from a place of convincing. Convincing has a different energy tied to it and the people you're talking might be feeling some resistance to that energy.

    Thank you! Great video! In my early years as a mother, I struggled with a lot of thoughts and beliefs that left me feeling very unfulfilled. Eventually, I was able to cultivate a mindset that allowed me to overcome that and now I want to help other high-achieving mothers who feel stuck in a cycle of overworking, overthinking, and people-pleasing go from feeling burnt out and unfulfilled to living with purpose, presence, and passion. So far, I haven't gotten a response from my LinkedIn posts and most of the Facebook groups I'm in don't approve posts that are considered promotional. Any tips on getting past this hurdle?

    Do you spend time chatting with your friends/followers? When I take the time to reach out on messenger with the goal of just getting to know them, I find people are more open to get on a call with me. Ask questions to see if they are your ICA and if they are, ask if they would help you out by answering some questions.

    Hi Sunny, I've been watching lots of your videos this week. I have a pretty narrow slice that I feel confident is my ideal, specific client, but in looking at the competition and other options available to them, I find nothing really that comparable to what I would offer -- very few or small resources at all and those that do exist are not written well or from the most efficient perspective. Should I be worried if there's effectively no competition for my niche? It's something that's between 5-8 years "old" and still seemingly unaddressed. Can an ocean be too blue?

    Another great video! I’m all about having a plan, and WORKING the plan! I have a suggestion for a future video (or maybe you’ve already made one on this topic and could provide a link..😊) But I keep hitting this wall that is preventing me from taking action. On one hand, I feel I need to build a channel and following before I begin to try to develop and sell my course. On the other hand, I feel I should develop my course in person with people I know, then start a channel with the purpose of immediately promoting my course. I hate the thought of “wasting” good videos before I have a product to promote. This question is coming from someone with NO social media channels, platforms, etc. as of right now. I hope this question makes sense…

    Sunny's typical advice is to start with the prototype version of your course, do the ideal client interviews as explained in this video and then promote the prototype to them on a small scale. Once you get buyers and get feedback on your prototype version of the course, then you can be more certain about your offering and your messaging, and then you can add social media, YT, etc, to attract more of the ideal clients.

    Thank you Sunny, great reminders! My fears with the ICA interviews is that 1) noone/few people would want to be interviewed 2) that they would think I am not the teacher they want to have. I guess I have to work on that complex. Comparing myself to some of my fabulous super experienced instructors from Eastern Europe. Yet I know that I have enough experience and valuable tips to share even to make a better course without copying anyone. Q: would you refuse someone if you feel they are not a good fit for the course (e.g. might be too critical or lack needed experience?)

  • @sharonbookerconsulting

    @sharonbookerconsulting

    The mindset work to get past your fears so you can do the things that will help you grow your business is so important to both personal and business growth. Before you reach out to ICAs, try taking some time to meditate to relax and calm some of your fears and then visualize the outcome you want from the conversation. If you focus on thoughts like no one will want to be interviewed and that they will think you are not the teacher for them, then that is what the universe will continue to send you. A change in focus will make a big difference in your results.

    How do you get people to go onto zoom calls with you? Would they not feel it doesn't benefit them to just be asked questions? Your videos are so valuable - I just can't grasp this part 😁

  • @sharonbookerconsulting

    @sharonbookerconsulting

    What I've found is that people are happy to help. Start a conversation first and get to know them if they are a new connection. The more I'm genuinely interested in them and not just interested in getting the interview, the more willing I find that people are to help me out by jumping on a call to answer my questions. Also, setting the right intention. If you go into conversations thinking that people will feel that it doesn't benefit them, then that's the reaction you'll receive. Set the intention that the call will be a win-win for both you and them and that they will leave the call with something valuable for them.

  • @masamangtao6417

    @masamangtao6417

    You can offer to try to help them some on the call. Even without your course being created yet, you have some experience/results in their niche-ideally, you have the result they are trying to get-so many of them would be interested in an informal chat, informal advice on their biggest pain points etc
