I have to agree with big Meeks, he does have an aura. For me it wasn't until after that World Cup final vs Argentina, but ever since then he really just has an aura of a football god ngl.. There's ZERO chance he plays the Olympics, I bet it'll even be written into his Real Madrid contract. He'd have zero downtime in the summer and need to miss a month or so of La Liga at the start to not be knackered for the whole season. Way too risky to play.

The Saudi league has offered 220 million already for Salah which we turned down. If he leaves in the summer then that money could easily manage mbappes wages. Shirt sells alone would raise tens of millions for the club. Mbappe is a business that needs managing. As long as we are winning trophies with him in the squad then we will see a return on our investment.

Their roles are different. De bruyne is a play maker , great passer and finisher. While mbappe is a striker , who has pace , dribbling skills and finishing. And he performed at vital times like World cup final against prime Argentina team, semi final and other knockout stages like in UCL. De bruyne has not done that at times enough. But respect to these two players.

Of course with the Games held in Paris no French club can, politically, refuse to let its own players go, so Henry is quite "safe" but what about other olympic selections?
