Everyone forgot 1st matchday when Milan had 20+ shots on goal and Newcastle had ONE in the 90th minute. They were outperformed and managed to salvage a draw. Talking about “key moments” this season…

The way they covered Milan & Borussia is abysmal...

Not sure Ale Moreno watched tonight's game. Because if he did he'd have seen that Mbappe was clearly the best player on the pitch. And he did infact use his pace to devastating effect especially in the first half. If not for some desperately poor finishing from his bang average teammates, the game should have been over in the first half. Oh and by the way, Psg's goal came from Mbappe's pace vs the wide man. ESPN kindly watch the freaking games before you send people to comment.

Hard for these Brits to give credit to the Italians in general. Even as a Milan fan after that first game I knew we'd beat them even with 1 CB, and it could've been more if Tomori and Leao didn't fluff their chances. Remember we had 27 shots at the Newcastle goal in the first game, this team does an even worse job at defending than us, in our last 10 games we've lost to PSG, Udinese, Atalanta and Dortmund, drew against Lecce and Napoli, and beat Frosinone, PSG and now Newcastle, our form has been a complete disaster. We've had 5 CB's injured, we had Loftus-Cheek out injured, Leao out injured, Giroud got banned for 2 games and Bennacer isn't match fit. So yeah we've been pretty awful.

Correct analysis of this game would be that Newcastle dominated the first half. Second half when pulisic scored they just went hard for it and Milan scored. The substitutions made by pioli changed everything

Ale’s criticism of Mbappe playing the “playmaker” position makes me wonder whether he was actually even watching the game closely. Mbappe had a goal disallowed for being inches offsides, another shot cleared off the goal line after a fantastic play by the Dortmund defender, and could have easily had 3-5 assists if his teammates could finish. I generally like watching this show but takes like that genuinely make me wonder if these guys are actually watching the games or just double down on their narratives because they want to be correct.

Not really all the English teams have done very good in Europe this season across the board. Every sane English fan knew United & Newcastle overachieved last season because of how poor others were they were never going too do well this season both have gone backwards.

You could say their last game in Paris they were robbed but in the end they couldn't seal the deal against Milan hence they finished rock bottom. It's a learning curve for Newcastle United in the Champions League but they will get better once they find their rhythm in the future.

I think PSG played really well but they should finished well and they really need good defensive players! Meanwhile Craig don’t like MBAPE….. nobody mentioned Mbape even though he didn’t score he played amazingly well.

You can't give it all and lost it all. Newcastle were simply inexperienced and naive. Anyway they came, they saw, they learn. Hope to see them in the CL in the 2024/25 season
