You've no idea how corrupt the system is. The enforcers of law are some of the biggest criminals out there as well. Which of course they only do for good reasons, except when the majority of that time it goes against social/public interests but for some reason always serves the so called "elite". You're seeing it before your eyes with Assange. It's an extremely visible case, nobody cares. Extraditing somebody to charge them for espionage by the laws of a country they are not a citizen to, is literally unbelievable (especially that it can be gotten away with publicly). They do not fear showing their corruption. The idea that we live in a democracy is laughable (in the majority of western countries). Unless people start going out into the streets, nothing will change.

@@gallectee6032 I don't think the world has progressed at all, really. As a whole we may have cleaned up our act, technically advanced(that we know of), yet torture, human trafficking, human sacrifice, is still alive today. I just think the elites refined it. I do know of the behind the scenes of politics. My relative was involved back in the 70's. TV is propaganda, control, which is why it's called programming. We have to protest and resist, and keep channels like this going.

@@jmseipp You have it wrong. He didn't work hard to put Trump into office. He worked against Hillary (because she's a war monger). And releasing a bunch of leaked emails that Hillary held on her private server for privacy, privacy that she disagrees the public should have, is hardly "working hard". Assange provided who he endorsed, which was the Libertarian party, Green Party and Bernie Sanders campaign (and this was after Sanders supported the prosecution of Edward Snowden). It's the neoliberal/centrist party, or as they're called the "democratic party" for some reason, that could've easily won if they nominated someone that people actually wanted. Someone who would've been far better for public/societal interests. Which was Bernie Sanders. They instead nominated someone that everyone hated. A cancerous career politician at a time when everybody was (and still is) enraged at the establishment (especially following the useless Obama government from the perspective of the voter base). It is the neoliberal/centrist party that blew it.

It's like giant grinding wheels of attrition. "Slow motion murder before our eyes." Julian Assange, so successfully villainized in public perception or still unfamiliar to many, needs to be seen for what he actually is. Just as WikiLeaks exposed the corruption and criminality of governments, Assange's courage, integrity, and moral foundation of granite needs to become familiar to all who oppose tyranny. Hopefully this film - which looks riveting in previews - will help educate more people.

It will not end well. Robert Barnes has said that despite having a selected judge and a selected court and a selected jury if Julian gets to the US, the case would be thrown out. For that reason he will never be allowed to leave Belmarsh alive. The British system of justice is totally corrupt and bereft of any semblance of law. on any level.

He is a true and utter hero of our times and for humanity as a whole. The people who did this to him are most despicable, and this only proves the case Wikileaks made against them. I am outraged, appalled, and profoundly sad when i think of what happened to him.

It’s beyond outrageous to have the animalistic and cruel British criminal system imprisoning a person in a maximum security prison system even when he has not been found guilty even within their so called justice system. They call themselves civilized. What a comical situation for them to claim they worry about human rights😮

@@raymondjames5035 And so much more. One of my favorites is CIA's Vault 7 program. It exposed the hacking/surveillance tools of the people who are there to serve us, to the public (and the CIA then labelled Wikileaks as a "non-state hostile intelligence service" and started coming up with assassination plans, to serve the public of course. It's all about public interest.) You see, Wikileaks and Assange are no good for you actually.

30:11 - Playing with emotions is definitely part of this prosecution. The exact same rollercoaster you will find with a progressive finance minister that attempted to take on EU institutions that were crushing his country. The book is titled "Adults in the Room: My Battle With the European and American Deep Establishment by Yanis Varoufakis".
