Board looks awesome! Loved what you did with the marker even if that wasn’t the goal initially haha.

Great job and the board came out nice.
That's really cool, I've made a few bits by no means know what I'm doing , but could be a great way to re use old boards
Did it back in the late 70's with dubious results. Still fun. I also took a perfectly good Gordon and Smith square tail and turned it into a swallowtail. Killer work. Subscribed.

I’m sort of doing this now with my SUPER OLD short board. Wanted to turn it into a Mini Simmons but I don’t think the base is wide enough so i’m just reshaping the nose area since there were so much cracks and dings that I didn’t feel like re-doing the repairs.
killer vids. keep 'em coming

What a result
Nice work man! Super entertaining and informative! Just an idea, I went to Lowe's and got a 90 degree angled PVC pipe and an end cap that I put on my planer, now I never get foam in my eye. I wish I had done it like a year ago...

Nice salvage. Doing a mini Simmons out of a broken longboard I found presently. Btw, if you had a tail pad you could pull an airverse!😂

A nice metalic green if it is possible with that goop would have made the black pop. But still very noice

Why fixed fins & not boxes?
@Rogue_wave

Because I wanted to hand make the fins. It’s a lot easier to hand make glass ins than try hand make fins that go in boxes (FCS, Futures)
