|WILL IT RUN? | 1962 Willys CJ5 Jeep Revival | From Abandoned to Driver | PT4
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Working with so many Landcruisers in my life daily sometimes can get repetitive and honestly, I needed a little reprieve. So, one afternoon when this Willy 1962 CJ5 was suggested I try to get going again I jumped on it. This is a new platform and is something ive wanted to start working on ever since I saw my first one as a kid. Can we get this one going to help complete a childhood dream? Find out!

Love it
Cool jeep my dad just delivered to you and I’ve also brought a cj5 back from the dead that used to be in Area 51
I can't believe views are dropping off on this series, it's fascinating, and I will watch any episodes you post. I'd like to see you upgrade to electronic ignition, power brakes, electric-assist steering, disc brakes, remove all body rust, and new tires, of course, just to name a few things.
clean out the crap in the bottom of oil filter holder --the crap build -up in the bottom of can //before putting new oil filter in place .
I enjoy so much your videos. I watched 4 episodes today. I am working in a 1957 CJ5. Stock ground up restoration.
congratulations - another very informative episode.

Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing the gauges worked. I had a set for about 250 000 but they finally failed. Another set that never worked and I gave up. Nice job.

That Jeep is so crusty awesome. My brother had a 70’s CJ5. It was a blast to drive.

100% great job buddy!,
I love seeing these old Jeeps back in service. We’ll done new sub here to follow along👏
Great stuff!!
Great videos I will say Keizer Willys catalog would have been your friend they have everything you could ever need for a jeep restoration
Well, except for the gas tank part, it's just what I'm doing on my '57 CJ5! Now if I only had a new distributor - it's STILL on back order!. Great episode - looking forward to #5.

I’ll buy your old distributor..
Watching closely as I'll be working on a '64 CJ5a Tuxedo Park Mark IV (in my best Thurston Howell the third voice) this spring. Parts source for for the specialty things like the speedo cable and repop stickers would be nice.
Really like the contrast between all the new and refurbished old parts against the major frame and body patina! Assume you are going to do something about the floor pans…or lack of them? LOL
I liked your video
Hi,hope so that it to be continued👌👌🖖🖖

I’m due time. Just driving it like crazy
I'm in Virginia too, following your project! Keep it up! My stats; 1957 cj5, dauntless v6, t18, dana 30 front, flanged offset dana 44 rear. Givemethewillys on the earlycj5 forum I'd love to know where the junk yard you were at is located!
