We need a jeep and leaf blower update. I understand that you are probably busy with the new shop build, but I can't wait to see how that is coming along. I like to see your wife help. Your videos are very informative and entertaining. I have never worked on a diesel engine, but from watching you, I think I would have a pretty good chance at getting 1 to run.

My late next door neighbor's son has one just like it that my neighbor bought him for his first car a half century ago. He just got done overhauling it. As his sister inherited the house when mom and dad died, and now lives next door, he's up here with that old jeep all the time. He absolutely loves that thing. One taillight, no turn signals (never did have), rattles and clanks and bangs, but he is having a blast with it. I think I'd have to turn a leaf blower on that thing first, and get all the mouse mess out of it.

Learned how to replace broken cutting teeth with the tools and parts I carried. Had so much fun I would have done it for free. How did I survive the 60's / 70's? A little late on watching this but I can identify (sort of). In 1978 I bought a running 1951 M38A1. That's the military version of the CJ5 (way before the CJ5). I brought it home and pulled the 4 cylinder engine. I bought a running Buick V6 and put in it. Then, I painted it, bought a new top, and ran the heck out of it for years. I loved that Jeep! Good luck with yours. I'd put that diesel in it!
