Kaku San is definitely more fun to listen to than Neil, IMO. However, as happened here, the question of traveling at light speed was never answered when the discussion ventured onto different tangents. As is usual the thought of how your human body would endure any of the theoretical ideas proposed is completely ignored. Primarily, how would any human digest food and drink once they enter outer space? Even astronauts that are in Earth’s orbit have issues eating, drinking and evacuating. How would the human body maintain a skeletal structure when it wouldn’t have the same need? The very next generation could possibly be vastly different and then what does that do to the theories?

Agreed the issue of us being ripped to shreds at that speed should be discussed. It would have to be something besides traditional point A to point B travel, more like a bending of space-time.

@@trels203 Theoretically speaking, If we were to develop Warp Travel, ie the warp drive from Star Trek, we could accelerate to 1g of relative travel, engage the Warp Drive and just maintain that 1g velocity within the bubble, with the bubble itself travelling at superluminal speed. Remember it isn't the speed itself that causes problems in this instance, it's the acceleration. That's not to say travelling at those speeds wouldn't be without their own dangers. For instance, if a vessel travelling at such high speeds were to collide with a small object, say a speck of dust, it would cause a catastrophic explosion.

Haha. I love SteveO. He used the old hippie description of the universe. "Man, its like not big or small. Its infinitely both, man". At which point the expert says, no. Then the expert talks about a bubble bath big bang multi universe that is crazier than the hippie theory.

This is really interesting. I read two of his science books back in the days, and they are rather good. Did not think he would ever be in the same room as Steve-O, but I am not compaining. Good to let hem explain things.

6:40 Hey Steve-O, Cantor, a mathematician, went insane from thinking about that. Btw, you're 100% right in a mathematical sense about the infinitely smaller.

No. It's not possible. Traveling through a wormhole, let's say, is not traveling faster than the speed of light. You're just taking a shortcut.

the language of god is the "info" shared between atoms and cells to gather/manipulate elements to create arms, legs, hands, etc... we are bags of meat, blood, and acid...wrapped around a calcium core, and controlled by a chunk of electrified fat that has the ability to communicate by causing vibrations in the air in certain patterns....inside all of us is a singular cell that tells all the others what to do.( the cell that split and created all the others )....that cell knows the language of god...because it is...the same way we are...not the god from religion or any holy book, but the real god....the energy that creates order from chaos and brings chaos to order...heaven and hell are the same place, its real and you're living in it right now.....and btw worship isnt required... do you make your kids worship you before they can be allowed into the house? if the answer is no does that mean you have a higher moral standard than god? just do your best with the finite time u have here, and apply the golden rule....thats all that really matters..... "the info between the smallest of things, is the answer we seek for all of these things"

From what very little I know about String Theory, I've heard that even if the theory is true, it would be almost impossible to prove.
