Awesome buddy! So amazed that you sail your boat by yourself! I’m not a sailor but I’ve seen a bunch of videos and the two to three crewmen is what I thought it would take to sail a boat as yours! Congratulations on this feat! You are one heck of a Captain and Master of the seas!

Hello Thomas Ive subscribed to your channel...you do good videos and under water sets you one notch above other sailing channels. Here are suggestions for improvement: 1) Dont shoot with bright light in the background it makes a poor image and on a large screen monitor is way too bright! 2) Your voice sound is poor, you are too far from the camera and your debit is a bit too fast...slowing down would help a lot! 3) Maybe less talking head and more B-Roll with added voice over. This could be quietly done at editing...and it would save you lots of bad recording issues. Cheers Go Covid safe!

Thomas are you sticking around there for Hurricane season? I heard that insurance companies have what's called the "hurricane box" which sailors have to stay out of.

With light winds and moderate seas does Be Free bob around like a heavy displacement hull? Watching Rigging Doctor, on a 44 foot boat(heavy displacement), bob around like a cork most of the time; looks like no fun.

Be Free is very stable due to deep keel and wide body. Almost like a catamaran only sailing better. Even though it’s only 11 feet difference a 55 makes a huge difference in comfort. That’s one of the reasons I previously said bigger is better. Cheers 🍻

Yes that’s my goal. Hopefully this crazy world gets more normal soon. I’m heading down to panama for the hurricane season and possibly heading out the big blue if it opens up

Thank you 🙏🏻Yeah it’s weird to drive a car... looking for the autopilot 🤣 We that know what boats are made of are feeling bad seeing this wrecks in the nature. I’m so happy to see Martinique managed to find money and motivation to clean up

So...rigging done by mid May...provision and trip to Panama in June. Provision and crew addition and sail into the Pacific in July?

You got it almost right! Except from the fact I’m not planning on taking any crew this time. My dream has been sailing Singlehanded through the Pacific💪🏻 If the islands reopens again I might be in the fast track towards Polynesia.

OMG!! I hope you didn't buy the Norwegian Farm raised Salmon! That is among the most toxic of all fish! There is a KZread video about the process and the dangers because they get the fish food from the Baltic sea, which is toxic.

I did not as it was meant as a bit sarcastic. Why do you need Norwegian salmon living on an Caribbean island. I don’t know much about the sea farm so would have to look into this. All the best and cheers 🍻
