It would be awesome to see if a can of Restore would improve performance on one of these clapped out engines on your long trips. Like after a few hours of driving or by the time you get home, maybe it would improve the power situation a little.

The catch can "fix" was honestly pretty genius... All that was missing was some way to have the oil recurculate back into the engine without needing to stop (maybe even by repurposing the windshield washer motor as an oil injection device, similar to what Deboss garage did in a fairly recent video where he drove a duramax Chevy with a blown head gasket from Texas up to the border). Rigging up something like that probably would have doubled the range between oil refills, which to be fair probably wouldn`t have made much of a difference

Kevin is a comedic catalyst. Maybe the best straight man on the tube. He refuses to quit, and brings out the comedian in everyone around him. When the smoke clears, you realize he has taught you something new about getting home in a car that can't possibly make it! His collabs are always hilarious, regardless of who he's hanging out with. Kevin is a truly generous, joyous soul.

When my 2nd gen Ford Ranger was on its last leg, it would burn 5 quarts of oil within an hours drive and you couldn't see anything behind the truck for atleast a mile due to the smoke screen. Never got in trouble for that, but I always drove on gravel roads. It did eventually give up, but it didn't seize up, just spun the bearings and refused to start. Wound up scrapping it for less than $100 since the body was all rust and dents, the engine was shot, and the transmission was definitely about to give up as well.

lol. Back in the late 90's, I drove an 1982 Impala for a taxi cab. It was the 305 with a Q-jet variety. This was easily one of the best cars I've ever owned! It had easily, 500,000 miles, and still going when I gave it to my brother. After many more miles he managed to kill the transmission (700R4?) and it went to the grave yard. Status: Legendary

This video is literally every year with his impulse to buy an old Chevy and he has to keep his mom from trying to buy it. She does that hilarious "I ask detailed questions about it and keep looking at it over and over, how much did you pay for it?" interest in old Chevys he buys because she used to drive burnt orange box Chevys back in the day. He told me tons of stories about how his mom back in her fresh from being divorced had all kinds of guys throwing themselves at her and her infamous burnt orange cars

We bought an 82 Caprice from my wife’s boss one year. He talked it all up; how he bought off the showroom floor, blah blah. I went to test drive it. First off, it was a two door so one plus! Second, the Caprice front end has been replaced with an Impala front end, making it a Capala? Imprice? Third and worst- the 229 V6!!! What a horrible engine!! Even with 90,000 miles, to the floor was 73mph!!! Oh the night mares I’ll have after watching this!! Oh the tilt column!! Yes!! Move the gear shift, adjust the wheel automatically!!! We drive ours up 77 to Ohio from Charlotte! Big mistake! The hills were bad. I had semi trucks passing me! Anyway, on the way home to Florida from Ohio, the trans decided to only use the gears it wanted! We traded as soon as we got home. The salesman called me the next day to ask me if it was a good car!! I said no why? He wanted to buy it!!!
