We Filipinos love curing egg yolks this way, without the garlic, that is. Just cover them in salt and you’re good. We cure the yolks and then shave them into many different dishes. Often it’s used in desserts to add a rich flavor. I’ve also had it in ice cream.

Yea but this is wild garlic and isn't as pungent. And this garlicy flavor is meant for savory dishes not sweet desserts.
