Mammals have similar brain wiring, so this is not surprising. I know neighbours cows really like (not all of them) music. If they would be checking it out for oddity reasons they wouldn't stay so long and start looking around while they listen. And advice from this man to keep music simple also helps, because to see paterns may not be so easy for some animals, so simpler music gives them more joy, and complicated music looses them because it starts to sound as just noise. Just think of some very complicated music from classic era. :)

Well, we are superior because we exercise dominion over these animals for our own sustainment. @@nickarrizza I'm not even talkong about marketing or companies. We can consume them because we have thw ability to. We can exercise our dominion over them. I'm not saying we should kill and eat every animal but some of them taste good and I enjoy exercising my ability to harvest whatever animal or plant I need. So hop off with the hippie stuff. If we didn't need meat to survive then I wouldn't kill them.
@dallin4992

@@nickarrizza I can justify it actually. I feel great about it. God created this world for us. We are his children and wants to see us flourish. Animals, plants, minerals, etc. are here for our benefit and need. I give thanks for my meals. I am not needlessly killing animals for pure satisfaction. Now, I don't know the exact science behind a plant based diet or vegan diet. But there are vitamins and minerals that we can easily gain from different meats without having to consume plants. Why can't we eat both? Also, I think we have a different view on why animals exist. I don't think we could come to an understanding until that is balanced.
I was in a band in high school we were playing a party in someone’s back yard one afternoon my buddy was tuning his bass and started playing around on it a few minutes looked up and and there was like 30 cows at the back fence listening to him play bass so I joined in on drums and we just played for the cows before the party started best crowd I’ve ever had lol

I think that animals can sense when they are safe with someone. My parents have a property on the edge of forested land and animals from the forest come up in their yard to eat what they leave out for them. When my parents are in their yard watering flowers or whatever they are doing, the wild animals just stay close to them and don’t run away. They know they are safe there and these humans won’t hurt them. They’ll be walking through their yard looking like Snow White with a crowd of forest creatures of all kinds around them like they are all friends. They’ll pour out birdseed on the ground and wild rabbits will hop right up to them as they pour, wild birds immediately fly down to them and everyone just starts eating at my parent’s feet like they aren’t even standing there 😂. They also toss out kitchen scraps and a family of foxes are there in the yard eating and the babies are playing there while my parents walk around doing their gardening.

When kids grow up with animals, they turn out to be better humans.
Your a real special person! Not kidding . To serenade nature, and have it respond. Very COOL!
The fox would understand introducing your family because they do that, too. So do a lot of animals. Great video.
This is how humans are meant to live! Not the crazy depressive lives so many of us do lead. A simpler and more meaningful life.

Not to rain on your ignorant parade but... It is our crazy depressive lives that allow a man to even live like this with our modern conveniences. 100 years ago attracting a fox by banjo would have netted you a free hat or fox pie.

Of course he likes banjo best!. So do I. That clean crisp sound detoxes the brain from stress! Lucky baby to grow up like that!
That would make a great children's book!
Sometimes I wonder if humans had encountered foxes sooner if they would've "self-domesticated" like cats did, given they fill similar ecological niches. At 1:45 Foxy stretches just like my cat and it got me thinking... Foxes were always my favorite wild animal since early childhood so maybe it's just a biased dream, but what a special experience to befriend a wild creature like Foxy.

It would be interesting. I have seen some to tune channels that have Foxes as a pet but mainly because they can’t live in the wild. They are beautiful but even kept as a pet they are wild animals at heart. Who knows if one day foxes will be domesticated, I highly doubt it but it is still beautiful to see relationships between human and foxes!

Look up the Russian fox breeding experiements!experiments!! Its a study that now has the only source of domesticated foxes- since they would only let foxes who were friendly breed and its actually worked- I cant say for certain all the specifics since it's been a while since I've seen it buy its worth the read

@@yellow_sprouts while they are very cool and interesting those foxes still aren't like cats and dogs yet. They are domestic but because they've only had a few decades of selective breeding they're not quite as domesticated as typical house pets. They're more like dingos then dogs.

Idk why but I always think foxes are like a mix between a dog and a cat- they kinda have characteristics of both

@@medexamtoolsdotcom Cats also overhunt, they're invasive and harm the ecosystem. They've led to the extinction of multiple animals. I still love them. I understand you not liking foxes but I feel it's important to recognize they're still animals, they don't kill your chickens just for the fun of it and they don't do it to ruin your life or livelihood. They do it becuase of a prey drive like cats. Cats overhunt because they don't know when their next meal will be so their instincts tell them to hunt when they see and bury what they don't eat for later. They often don't this for places near humans becuase that instinct gets overtaken by the fear of the area being dangerous. It's the same for foxes. However there are animals that kill for fun, orcas, dolphins, and sea lions are three come to mind. Animals often adored and found adorable by most people, even though they do much, much worse than kill chickens.

I was in a field one time with a herd of wild mustang horses off in a distance."Livingston, Montana: I was enjoying the serenity and the scenery. I was singing church hymns with my eyes closed....I opened my eyes and I was surrounded by all these beautiful horses!!! One of the best spiritual experiences I ever had.!!! Thanks for reminding me.!

Wow…that is so beautiful! You must sing so soulfully to make this happen. When I sang my cat rolled on the floor and cried. When I ignored him and kept singing he panicked and started jumping and biting me. Yeah, needless to say, my awesome singing career came to an end. 😂 But I wish I could have seen this beautiful scene you described here. Do you have a KZread channel for your songs?
