I think the mother smelled his scent and just had mother instincts and just went HAM until her child was found. Glad they are back together and hope they are doing well in the wild

I didn't know the bond between a mother fox and her baby is that strong,she was as adamant about finding her baby just as a human mother

It is good parenting. Not just for her own daughter but for the sake of the baby fox and his mother. it would've been fun to have a fox join the family and many people would've been tempted, but this mother knew that the fox has its own family to return to.

This reminds me of 2016 when me and my mom wake up to weird noises outside, they sounded weird, my mom and I went on the balcony and saw nothing. About 1 hour later at 7 AM, the sounds were still there. We went into the flat garden to investigate and saw a very young fox stuck in a fence calling for help. I then waited a bit, looking that he is fine, whilst my mom got some tools to cut the fence open. At 7.30 AM, we finally freed him, and he looked so happy, at every morning we also looked outside to see obviously he didn't get stuck again, and he was always outside, being happy and looking on our balcony. That day when we freed him was probably the best day in my life.

I'm impressed at the determination of Mama fox to get her baby back even after a little while had passed and her vengefulness at destroying the family's stuff when she realised her baby was still there and felt he was being held captive by the humans. You phrased your comment as though you were being respectful, then attacked me....then continued to make unnecessary personal insults after going through old videos of mine. How sad is that? And no, saying "no offense" does NOT undo the fact that you DELIBERATELY insulted me- digging through old videos for no reason. See people- that is why so much of the internet is TOXIC. People constantly want to pick fights and hurl insults rather than have civil discourse. I weep for the future.

What a lovely ending, to what could have been a tragedy. I am so pleased he was back with his mother, and was able to grow up to be a wild fox.

Yeah he was no more than a day away from what us Amerikans call "stankin" literally his ass was almost grass 😑 and pushing up daisies. You could see a flies anticipating the confirmation 👍 from mother👩‍🍼 nature.

When I saw that picture at the end, I cried like a baby.

Foxes are beautiful. Bless this woman’s heart for rescuing him and nursing him back to health and released him to his mama. I wish everyone is more like this amazing woman and she taught her kid how to respect animals.

Yeah, they went above and beyond. Tried to get the professionals in but couldn't, so got it strong enough. Then figured out a way to quickly get it back to its mum so it could stay wild. Loved the pulley idea. I was wondering how they would manage that.

That is a wonderful thing you did, after taking care of little Foxy, letting him go to his Mum and be free xxx

Lol yeah same because like they said :”imagine what that fox mom was going through trying to find her baby” that’s any mother. If I couldn’t find my baby I would be going crazy.

When the Mom said that she could only imagine what that Mama Fox was going through missing her baby it really touched my heart. Love that a Mom thinks of ALL Mother's, no matter if their furry or not ❤

Exactly why we should not be drinking cow milk! It is a very brutal industry for moms. It kills them young 😔

Bravo on that brilliant solution for putting him under the basket!!! He couldn't wander away and was naturally inclined to call out, which attracted the mum.

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story! In a time when all we hear on a daily basis is abuse and disregard for all the wonderful furry critters that share our planet with us, this was a breath of fresh air. You are a truly remarkable family.

You know that Softee's going to keep coming back to his humans' yard for visits and snacks, and later on, bring his own kits to visit. Because he'll always remember that when he was weak and frightened and trapped, they got him out, and nursed him back to health before getting him back to his mama. It's a safe place to him now, and always~

Which ist sadly a rather bad thing because the animals can become dependant on it. On the other hand foxes are generally known to be dependant on humans for example in city so I guess it could be worse

I love how you didn't even seem angry that mum had destroyed your garden. You are great people with a great heart. I grew up in a large town but my street had long gardens and we used to feed the boxes. Two of the foxes became quite tame and we could feed them by hand. Amazing animals

@@Kosh800 foxes don't kill or eat stranger cubs. Some even adopt them especially vixens who already have cubs. Fox cubs are generally loved by adult foxes

@@Kosh800 you're not far from the truth. They share the same ancestor with all dogs/wolves/coyotes/jackals (the tomarctus) so they are a kind of wild dog. But they adapted to the same ecological niche as cats: catching rodents by sneaking. So they evolved cat like features like the slit pupils and some behaviour. Its called convergent evolution. Tl:dr they ARE a catlike canine. Best of both worlds ^^

Thank you so much to this wonderful family, and thank you to everyone who makes an effort for animals. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who cares, and then I watch a Dodo video and I realize there are millions of us, even if it doesn't always feel that way. Thanks Dodo, for reminding me.

Beautiful, loving families. The human family found a way to save Softee, and reunite with Mama. I love that they looked at the damage done as the actions of a desperate, loving mom. 💖. Bet the damage stopped after the were reunited. Many people don't look at things from another's perspective.

They didn't even seem that upset over the things being chewed up, just concerned. What good hearted people. 💜

This is so cute.. and i love how the whole family's accents are all different :)
