    I actually like them showing it unfinished. Kinda gutsy. We can get an idea how it’s put together. The rest we can use our imagination but but he’s actually explaining how the final product will look like. There are many videos of rv’s already out there to see final production.

    I really appreciate showing this unit in the middle of a build. The paint is most impressive and as you said it looks like it is moving. I will look for the finished product video but I wished you would have talked about the final weights you are going for and the different storage capacities you are planning. I'm also interested in the wall, ceiling and floor insulation and R values you are designing for.. I hope you put a good 9 panel solar panel array on the roof and make room for 8 flooded batteries running at 24 volts. Of course this unit will probably spend its life in a park. You must need a semi tractor to tow it. Thanks again.

    Actually a F-350 , 450 or 550. Ram 3500 and up will pull it. Diesel power a must. Medium duty FL60 which is a Frieghtliner handles those quite well. My wife and I are looking into having a luxury coach built and truck to pull it. I’m leaning towards a FL60 crew cab to pull ours. Have a great day.

    The bathroom could’ve used dual sinks his/hers for sure. Also, my opinion but going down to a Queen Bed would make more room to feel as if it were a master bedroom. Lastly, the kitchen island looked fairly cheap, could use a better counter top. Beautiful 5th wheel!! That would be great to Full Time live in !!

    Beautiful rig, and I love the paint on the side of the slides. Nice detail touch. However, I really don't understand the laundry in the master bedroom. Those things are annoying to hear, and in case of a gray tank overflow, it will flood the master bedroom. (I know this from experience when the washer flooded, ahem, twice.) Yes, you can monitor the gray tank easily, but mistakes happen. Also, why the choice of the Lippert levelers? Even in my Momentum, my whole rig shakes when the washer and dryer are going. Why not use the sturdier units that you see on Class A's or Super C's?

  • @cg5675

    @cg5675

    The kitchen sink fills first. We do not do laundry when we are in the room. The levelers are not Lippert they are Big Foot. We have 4 not 6 because they are not cheap lippert crap. Our frame has at least double the steel of your momentum. It hardly shakes at all.

    Just what states are you gonna tow a fifth wheel this long legally? The majority of states have overall length limits between 60-65 ft and many have trailer limits of 45 ft. Louisiana is the only state east of the Mississippi that allows 70 combined, but they have a trailer limit of 40 ft. When dealing with lengths, it doesn't matter what is legal in you home state once you leave that state, although I've not sure how tightly it is enforced in many states.

    I have a few questions. What size truck is required to pull this unit? What type of license is required for the truck driver? Do your customers drive this trailer themselves? I recently saw a video showing a customer driving a brand new F250 pulling a large, also brand new, 5th wheel coach that jackknifed. There was some speculation that a F250 was underpowered for the load. I would be petrified to drive anything this big. I know that you do custom, but I am curious at what kind of price range your 5th wheel coaches are priced at.

    This thing probably weighs upwards of 30k lbs empty so to safely pull it you would need s semi tractor imo.

    Just the same as any other trailer with GVWR > 10k pounds. In TX, that would be a non-CDL class A driver’s license.

    This thing probably has a dry weight of low 25k lbs. loaded you would need like an f450 dually or more. a medium duty truck or a semi would be best.

    It's the race to the biggest rv. Just like the arms race. In the "End" No one wins.. OTR's 53' Have a hard time getting in and out of some places. Why? would you want to go through that?. Plus you can't go in most Prvt. rv parks, st/parks, Fed/parks.... God bless who have the money. But it sure looks like money makes you lose your mind. Plus it paints a big target on your Front and back. In the end the K.I.S.S. principal is the way to go... Btw is it not the rv life to be a minimal life sta.Any ways?
