This is all wonderful for a lot of places right now, but a little in the future for some areas. Having lived in a solar home in NE USA, I’m aware of things that affect solar power in some areas. Right off the bat, the panels are flat here, so whichever direction the sun is coming from, you’re capturing power. On a home, roofs are slanted, and you either only put panels on one side or half the panels are getting little to no sun half the day. You also obviously have more sun the closer you are to the equator. Many of these RVs chase weather which you can’t do in a home. Finally, the average middle class would have trouble paying for a system like this while paying a mortgage. Add to that how often technology changes. Without going too deep into detail, it’s easier and cheaper in the RV world to upsize, downsize, upgrade, downgrade, than it is in 2000 sq. ft. This is all still state of the art and wonderful… I’m just throwing some quick things out for people wondering why this isn’t how all homes are built.

Not a full size w/d but they did have the first of its kind travel size w/d also had a full size tub/shower. I would love to buy one of the new ones so maybe if we hit the lottery 😅

Great as a showcase for taking current technologies to the limit, but as a unit for the average camper, not so much. Whenever it takes a commercial truck to tow the rig, 99.9% of the market is out. This will appeal to the buyer who would shop Prevost or Newell. Thanks for taking the time to present this trailer.

Wow, that's massive - definitely a first-class rig! I'm in the process of building a solar system that's less than 1/2 that size on my motorhome and I thought that was a fairly big system. I just finished the 12v phase with a 620w self-lifting array mounted on the side of my MH and a 7.1kwh LiFePo-4 battery. Next will be the 48v phase with 4,000 watts on the roof and a 15.9kwh 51.2v battery. I really can't go any bigger due to weight, size and cost constraints. My total system will be about 4,600w of solar and 23Kwh of batteries. I have been doing all the design and construction work myself to keep the cost low. My total system cost with a super high efficiency mini split will be around $12,600 - and over a hundred hours of labor, but I'm retired so my labor is basically free. I mean, what else am I going to do with my time? Plus, when something breaks, I can fix it, because I built it. My motorhome hasn't been in the shop since we went FT, 4 years ago. I don't even want to know what a solar system that size costs, cause it's definitely out of my price range. I'll bet a solar/battery system that size costs more than my entire motorhome! Heck the battery alone is probably worth more than my entire motorhome. It helps to have perspective. 😉 I can't even imagine the size and weight of a 108Kwh battery bank. You must need a class 8 tractor to pull a trailer that size. Good luck boondocking on soft pastures, muddy forest service roads and on sandy beaches with something that heavy. We've been FT for 4 years, boondocking most of that time and this size rig is not suitable for the kind of boondocking we do. Maybe if all you do is go to smooth, hard packed open places like Quartzsite it would work.

It's a cool rig but really how many camp grounds can take that big of a rig? You need a semi to pull it which is nuts. You went green with your camper but then you had to buy a semi truck to pull your big green rig lol. Off grid is great but how many places out west can a semi truck go off road to BLM land to camp for free off grid. Great technology its pretty cool but not practical at all. Nothing like boondocking most of your trip at truck stops and rest stops cause a camp ground can't take that big of a rig.

You have THREE tires on each side IN A ROW!! Why do 18 wheelers have TWO tires side by side (call dual wheels), to spread out the weight from side to side right? When ANY two axle rig goes into the sand or soft ground the first wheel pushed down the sand, the second wheel pushes down the sand more and for the bigger rigs that have three axles the third wheel will push down EVEN more!! Therefore getting STUCK much faster right. The tractor pulling this rig, does it have dual wheels? They are there for a reason.
