So who’s used CCS and how were your results?

I've used CCS exclusively since I started getting my comics graded by CGC. I'm pretty happy with the results. The actual grades is another story.

@@e2comiccollector101 there is a certain convenience to it for the right type of books for sure.

Gold label is Pedigree, YELLOW label is Sig series.

Those turn around times cost me thousands on my first couple of submissions. I feel your pain!

Hey man. Solid video. Quick question : Is it really necessary to get all my submissions pressed? Obviously its not free and can rack $$ up pretty quick. I do submissions for my personal collection, not to flip or sell after. Not really even trade. Its all for me. I have done submissions before without pressing and the comics look great with average grades of 9.0 and up. All the comics im going submit soon are in really great condition ( to majority of regular collector standards). So save money and not press or press and spend the extra cash? Thanks bro.

I feel like if you are going to invest the money to grade you should invest the money to press as well but that’s just my personal opinion

The one and only issue I have ever had with CCS is the ridiculous turn times. I had 7 books confirmed received on 4/21 they were not completed and sent back until 7/22. They always talk about CGC needing new hires...it is all in the pressing area. It shouldn't seriously take this long. They should have someone audit the process and speed things up. I know CGC/CCS has lost a ton of pressing business because they are just too slow. Great video as always thanks Charles.

Thanks! Most results I’ve seen have been good enough but yeah 10 months without even the excuse of extra shipping time

i don’t use them for the exact reasons you said. Takes too long and as an analogy, i prefer detailing rather than a drive through car wash to optimize appearance. Btw unlike the other comment, I find your audio fine

Yeah turn around times are ridiculous especially for level of service they provide. There is a low buzzing noise I noticed when editing on the video which I think was the ventilation system in the new place. Will try my mic in the future and see if it reduces that on the recording.

Is it possible to cancel my ccs? I just placed the order and haven't sent it in but I can't wait 10 months! It's literally only been 15 minutes but they aren't open yet.

If you haven’t sent then just don’t send them. They don’t charge you until they receive

Last several books I sent were cgc graded cracked open, cleaned and pressed regraded and came back same grade or LOWER. NO MORE CGC

Yeah, the audio was off on this video. Have a mic just never really needed it but new house means new background noises I suppose
