Why YOU Should Visit | Bridgnorth - HISTORIC Funicular Railway
Join us as we visit the beautiful Bridgnorth in Shropshire for the very first time and show you why you need to visit
The main reason for the visit was for the historic 1892 Funicular Railway which is England’s steepest and longest inland electric railway
At the top you can find the ruins of the former Bridgnorth Castle which was ordered to be destroyed in 1646 by Oliver Cromwell, the main tower has a lean of 15° which is more than the Leaning Tower of Pisa
The small town is also rich in history, quaint little streets and old vintage shops including and amazing Fish & Chip shop where we had a lovely meal
The historic Severn Valley Railway is also in the area and you get a great view of it from the Castle Gardens in the hill, we will be back to do that in the future

Severn Valley Railway is a brilliant day out from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster. You need to get there early Andy. You can get on and off at different stations i.e Bewdley.
not been on the railway since 1974 still looks the same

Next time try it on a roll with ketchup absolutely banging.
I dunno what you're going to do when you're 70, I'm personally saving all these things for then lol. Why I still have a sports motorbike, I'm going to ride it until I cannot stand riding sports bikes any longer, then I'll switch to a comfortable touring bike lol. Though It's not too long until I'm 40 and my bones are already starting to ache, I'm really regretting being 5st overweight as it has probably aged my body faster.
