Join us as we visit the beautiful and historic 1926 Babbacombe Cliff Railway located in Devon for the first time
This stunning Funicular railway is one of the most spectacular ones we have done in the UK and we have done most of them
At the bottom is a secluded beach, cafe, gift shop and some paid water activities such as pedalos and paddle boarding
Also in the area is the awesome Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones Victorian Museum which i have both visited before

Great video mate i love the cliff railways at Hastings spent lots of summers there as a kid

You always go back to do what you missed as promised. Felt so sorry for Tilly on the beach. Have to see if you have a playlist of cliff railways, always wanted to Saltburn as it goes straight down to the pier, not sure if Folkestone leas has reopened too, of course some more glamorous and expensive than others but it's history rather than a mode of transport really. Hope the jail was a good birthday treat

You should definitely try the ones in Hastings, there’s two there - one outside (East Cliff?) & one that goes through a tunnel to the castle area (West Cliff?)

Nice little funicular. I'm surprised at how quiet it is when you are inside the carriage. Have you been on the Cairngorms Mountain Funicular up near Aviemore in bonnie Scotland? It's currently out of service at the moment due to maintenance issues. It's a once and done thing.
