3:48 You really nailed this video. I strongly agree with the points here. Saying NO results to a simpler life and less stress. However, it might suited for individuals who are thinkers than those who are outgoing and prefers a shallower but action filled experience.

Not being able to say no is a sign of low self esteem, and self esteem is critical for success!

@@kentatakao6863 By valuing yourself, your needs and your dreams first! By putting yourself FIRST. And realizing that other people have no power over you, until you choose to give it to them. There is a lot more to building self esteem. But start with these. And another absolutely crucial thing (without this you won't develop healthy Self Esteem), surround yourself with people who lift you up, and do away with those who put you down. It may not be easy, but you must do it. :)

@@kentatakao6863 There are no successful people with a low self esteem (According to Dan Peña). I haven't heard of any & I can't even imagine a successful person who is not able to say no. Even if success gets to a pushover, such a person won't be able to keep it.

@@only4anindya For me its based on the quality of three things: Health, wealth, relationships.

*You do not always have to go to that event or take that phone call. Sometimes saying, NO is the best kind of self-love*

Another way to describe this seems to be: “don’t pay the wrong opportunity costs.”

By saying no more often, you can focus on the things that really matter to you

I think this is an even greater problem for retirees. People tend to think our time (as retirees) is less important. We do it to ourselves as well. But this phase of life is too important to live without a bigger vision. And to fulfill that vision requires focus.

*Say no now to the mediocre so later on you will be able to say yes to greatness!*

The reason why i say no... Because when i say yes it actually means yes. People respond to this. They know not to bother you and they know that you will come through when you say so.

Every "YES" is a "NO" to a million other things. It´s worth a thought for sure👍 Cool video

I very much agree with this. I cannot stand people packing too much shit into their lives. It makes me feel like I'm suffocating and there is no joy left.

Saying no is like changing our perspective in every situation that we need to make decision.
