Haha love the thumbnail (pew pew!). So glad you did this video! We got a diode laser too a couple of weeks ago but we haven't used it for anything but to engrave a few squares to make sure everything was good. I have it in my office and don't want to try doing anything with it until I have the proper set up. I also really appreciate you showing the settings you used for each material. The laser we got has its own proprietary software but I use Illustrator to design, so I'm not sure if I'll need to get Lightburn yet. If I do decide to get it, it's only $60, so it's definitely budget friendly. Thank you and keep up the good work!

@@MakewithJake doh! I didn't realize I didn't answer! 😅 Yes, we got the xTool D1 10w and the 20w module. We also got the air assist and their honeycomb. I just haven't used it much because it's been too hot in Houston to work in the garage (plus my brand new Macbook Pro gets way too hot with just the minimum stuff open 😒). I did use it to cut something for my greeting card display, but that was the only time I used it and I was in my back porch. I may need to get an enclosure so that I can work from my airconditioned office.
🤯 I had no idea laser is actually an acronym!

Wait, a video about light (photons) or a video about Lightburn? (Software) The scope of the video is drastically different between the two. Haha 🤣

no. you need a CNC router for that.
