Another tip before you build your first guitar: learn how to spell, The N and B on the pickups stand for neck and bridge, you installed the neck pickup in the bridge position and the bridge pickup in the neck position.
The pickup ring was on right in the first place.....
Sorry, I don’t speak wrong.
What kind of wood did you use?
PLEASE READ! The blades are double sided so you can rotate them and keep going while the new ones you order come in, no down time!!
pickups are wired into your switch first, not pots...
So, singles are stuck with their Dull Forstner bits.
Hates metic 😂 obviously he cant count to 10
What tf is the kilometer??!
Pretty cool to watch Ben Wyatt build a guitar
I never trust a woodworker who say's he hates metric.
Great video, guitar is beautiful
If I may suggest, *Marius Hornberger* has an excellent video (actually _two_ 🙂) on doing a number of upgrades to his drill press. I'd link, but... YT deletes said links, even internal-to-YT ones. Search on: *"Marius Hornberger Inside a Drill Press"* He then followed it up with "World's Best Drill Press Upgrades" which adds still more. Marius has a GREAT channel, FWIW! Might give you some more ideas.
What grit sandpaper are you using?
Skil makes a lot of good tools. They've shot for the budget market with the huge surge in POWERFUL battery operated tools.. but I've used 20-30 year old SKIL tools on jobsites as long as I've been a carpenter.. It's like saying "does Kleenex actually make good tissues??" People often still call circular saws "skil saws"
Thank you. Great great tip!
When I buff I apply a small amount with rag or towel that way it won't splatter all over the place. You may have to go back to some places after you finish. Can up area and look carefully for rough spots. It is better to take your time.
I don't think I be making that I have seen easier ones than that on KZread
you had me with the like and subscribe lol
"Word TO the wise." Not "of". C'mon, it's your language.
Cool. I've never seen a set of calipers that displayed fractions.
i just discovered that my CraftRight calipers are over half a millimeter out from reality, this is not even close to usable and has cost me days of headache trying to prototype some new fittings the last few weeks, Do I am telling you now that there is a rice point that is too cheap to go.
I'm still waiting for mine, but it claims it's only about 50 lbs, not 100 lbs as you mentioned.
how many countries using imperial?😂😂
Great video! Sorry about your little hiccups but they’re valuable lessons for others. Thanks for sharing.
Ok so i've gone my whole life calling those Vernier's lol......are those completely different?
i can only dream of having a guitar like these. new sub here from the PH
Great job!!
so, yer saying two screws wrapped in old socks and duck tape, screwed into wall anchors if necessary?
The music is a bit much.
John Cena: are you sure about that? Then let's try to convert 5.78 feet cubic to gallons vise versa without any tables nor calculator and try to convert 5.78 meter cubic to liters vise versa and see how much time to take just for conversion alone
NO WAY !!!!!!!!!!😮😮😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉😮🎉❤😂❤😂❤😮🎉😂❤❤😂🎉😮🎉😂❤❤😂🎉😮
I think I might have that same Craftsman router. Bought it in the ‘80s and it’s still going strong.
Would this work with 3cm thick wood that’s around 61 cm length? Seems but too long and thick to fit in a socket and revolve smoothly while cutting. What do you think? Any experience? Thanks so much!
Fabulous tip. Thanks!
I’ve never had any luck with that grain filler- ever
👍👍👍👍 10,000 Times .
Thanks for sharing helpful thanks
Thanks Jake. That turned out nicely. I'm glad you mentioned all your failings - not in life, just in the staining process.
Most machine shops (even in the US) use metric sooo..... mayve you should use metric 🤷♂️
You should try 2 very diluted black dye coats drying and sanding in between coats to make that maple grain really pop man!!!!! It'll blow your mind!!!!
looks great!
A true beast!!!
Did you ever make a video of this guitar being played?
unfortunally i can't find this planner in Italy...there is an alternative one from DeWalt?!
Tried it. Ugly result. If Sasquatch had jerked up a tree root and gnawed it, he would have made a better dowel than mine.
What blue dye did you use.
Only Liberia, Myanmar, and The United States use the imperial system. How can you hate the metric system when it is so much better and easier to use?
usually with semi hollow bodies you make a template in wish you istall the pots and pickups and stuff and solder thatup completely with the right length wires and shielding , and a way to route the wires away from the soundholes (cause it looks messy) then you feed everything (did you put a groundwire on the bridge) intoo the rear pickup hole(including the plug socket without the mounting plate) and the front pickup i would start with feeding thatfrom one hole intoo the other) and pull the rest of the switch loose wire for the bridge ground and pots to where it needs to go the bridge ground wire gets stipped pretty fat and held in the hole while you hammer in the nut for mounting the bridge the finish looks realy nice , maibe next time hand paint the tuner holes before sanding so there covered , wetanding is still the way tyo go in my eyes though polishing compounds and a big buffer on a pillar might work too images.prismic.io/kippersrijssen-test/NmUxODNlOWUtYjAyMC00NzdmLWJmMDEtZjQ0ZDIyNzkxYzBi_7fde5282-8340-4a6f-bf2c-4b9e2b141916_psm14_82.jpg?auto=compress,format&rect=0,0,1000,1000&w=1000&h=1000 that allows you to get a good grip on the body and possibly push youre hip intoo it
