Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

I would like to know from those who have solved PTSD and anxiety, if they have solved it definitively and how to understand what quantity of psilocybin to take and when, for how long. And can you really heal without having an addiction? Thanks to everyone for helping me understand, I want to understand if it's something that can help me solve the problem (I have c-ptsd)

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later

I been drinking on and off since I was 18. I will be turning 36 this Thursday. After watching this I’m for sure taking the leap of abstinence from alcohol. I drink sometimes out of boredom and sadness. And because of how my own family(wife and kids) makes me feel. I can’t keep doing this to myself just because of how other people treat me. It’s time to make a change. And as of today I’m done drinking. And eventually I’ll gain the courage to get rid of the toxic people in my life.

The problem for most drinkers is that they do it for the wrong reasons, too much it, and consumed foods that augments the damage it can have on their brains. One cannot drink alcohol and consumed carbohydrates and to make matters worse, processed food. Sugar helps alcohol go to the brain faster and unchecked. Humans have always consumed alcohol as a liquid since not every place had guaranteed clean and drinkable water around even 300 years ago. But humans did not consume too many carbs like they do today and along with processed and ultra-processed foods.

@@harnaksingh7494 Alcohol can cause a something like a "food allergy." It is commonly called "alcoholism." However, those that do not abuse it and do not react negatively through their personality upon consuming it must consider their food intake or diet during consumption. Alcohol (some more than others) is an intense form of sugar that when combined with foods with added sugar, carbohydrates, processed and ultra-processed foods, it can be toxic and deadly. Alcohol consumption goes better with a high protein (and only protein)diet (in my opinion).

I’m 6 days out of this trap now, I can honestly say that I’m not going to touch a drink again! The cycle of feeling so bad when I wake up and I’m never going to drink again is something that makes me feel I don’t want this in my life anymore! For the first 4 days was so hard! Not the cravings but the no energy and the night terrors..it’s been so difficult just to carry on with work and normal everyday functions, day 6 and it’s like I’ve come out the other side already! I feel amazing!! My emotional balance is settling down, I’m done! If I can do it then you can! I was in a real rut, I’m never going back there again! That's right. One of the 1st changes that I noticed after I quit drinking alcohol is that I rarely catch a cold. I'm 31 now and it's been more than 12 years since I am totally sober. The maximum I can catch a cold is once a year but I recover in 1-2 days. When I was a moderate drinker, every spring and autumn season there was at least 1 time when I got sick. And it took me 3-5 days to recover.

Turned 70 this year, been a regular drinker since my teens, often heavily as I got older. Had regular breaks from alcohol, often stopping for 3 months but always ended up drinking again, mostly because of peer pressure. Due to a health issue I decided to stop for good this time and haven’t touched any alcohol for over 20 months. Benefits have been significant weight loss, far better sleep, acid reflux gone, more energy, improved mental acuity, mood is way more positive, better off financially. Can’t get over how much better I feel and honestly wish I’d given it up years ago.

It’s a sign for me not to give in. Maybe think of not drinking on your bday as a bday gift for yourself :) you got this and congrats on weight loss and staying alcohol free this long ❤

Thank you, Dr. Diamonds, for providing this video. For those with eyes to see, and ears to listen, this is of great service to humanity! As for me, I haven't touched a drop of alcohol for a little over six months now. (I just couldn't deny all the compelling reasons for alcohol abstinence!)

Brilliant video, best I've seen about why you shouldn't touch alcohol, and ive watched loads, very informative and I agree with everything in it. I stopped drinking from January and have never felt fitter or better. I've very made great gains in gym by not drinking, before that it was 3 steps forward and 2 back, exactly as you say, keep putting out these videos there brilliant.

Teetotal / No recreational substances + Very Health conscious since age 24. People say to “let my hair down” or “live a little” but I’m living my best and most authentically like this. Kinda wish I did it a tad sooner but I’m not hard on myself about it because in hindsight early into age 24 is a great time to “wake up” and abstain from all this detrimental crap. You become your actions so your good stronger values & mature characteristics become even stronger after only a couple years of it. So I think the mid-twenties _(23, 24, 25, 26)_ actually was the ideal age range for me. Even the late twenties ain’t to shabby assuming you didn’t start drinking before you were considered an adult.

Ugh......this video is a hard pill to swallow. I'm not a heavy drinking......I"m a craft beer nerd. If I was to be honest, it's an actual part of my life, because it's part of my friend circle. The thing is....he's right about testosterone and cell growth. My energy levels have absolutely sucked since I hit my 40s, so I don't need anything else fighting that. I've thought about "just drinking on the weekends", but this video has me even rethinking that. One week in....zero alcohol.....ramping up my gym workouts. We shall see.

Well, this timely. Actually, an hour late, but a course correction at the perfect moment. Started a 75 and hard, prompted by my husband. This is also day 3 of 20000 steps. 11 days in and he had a few drinks after an especially difficult day. I used this as an excuse to have a shot with my water. This is the first video I came across after that. Honestly, I really enjoying not drinking. Thanks for the kind reminder to refocus on the goal. Looking to show up as the best version of myself everyday. Love your content. It's helped me so much :)!!

it has soon been 8 month since stopping drinking...I have learned that I can fully enjoy a wide range of different situations without alcohol. I have set out to do one year...but I'm struggling to see any benefit of even drinking moderately again. I just miss a really good quality glass of wine with my food...but I just need the taste, not the actual alcohol...I'm sure the options will continue to get better and better 🙂

I'm glad You quit, Dr. Mike! I'm very fortunate. I found out early on that I have an allergy to alcohol. So I never drank. I'm 46, and I've only gained 8 lbs. since I was in High School. And it's muscle weight. Of course, eating right, and good genes also had a lot to with it. On multiple occasions, I've been mistaken to be as young as 28y/o by strangers, or ppl who have just met me. Having worked in restaurant kitchens all throughout my 20's & 30's, and helping my parents run their neighborhood market in my teens, I've witnessed many ppl while they were intoxicated. And dealing with co-workers who were hung over while on the clock after a night of heavy drinking. It was always uncomfortable & heartbreaking to see ppl enjoy poisoning themselves, and ruining their health.

One other thing that I have found to consider if you want reinforcement to quit drinking is that if are around drunk people and you aren't drinking, is that how absurd the whole idea of drinking is by watching those that are.

I agree with this video, but still the key is balance and control, you can still enjoy alcohol and have a healthy , have a good body and fun life. once a week tops for me is the key. Don't mix your alcohol with sugary sweets, take it like a man neat or with ice and its only +/- 100 cal a shot. 3-4 shot a night , once a week max only on weekend.
