Sweden is so beautiful where your adventurous spirit can be lived without limits. This beautiful country has everything you can imagine gorgeous mountains, valleys, lakes from the ice age extremely beautiful. Happy New Year and Congrats guys; exciting news! Content idea: (asking for a friend of course..) You guys should make a video on how you planned to travel for a year / quarter from both a time and money perspective. Work schedule / arrangements (did you quit or are you working along the way), did you have to save much, etc. I think many would be very interested in finding out and following in your footsteps :) Anyways Mollie and I did a backpacking trip starting from Cancun all the way down the eastern coast of Mexico (Cancun -> Tulum -> Chetumal), took a boat to Caye Caulker, Belize (beautiful island for Snorkeling and water activities) and then bus to Flores (Tikal Ruins), Antigua, and Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. All by boat, buses, and hostels. It was amazing and I’d recommend it!

Oooh yeah! We've talked about making that video before, but just haven't sat down yet to film it. I think we want to do one at the beginning of the travels and then one at the end as well just to kind of explain our expectations vs. realities and our budget once we're actually traveling. AND WOW. That trip sounds amazing. How long did it take for you to go that whole distance??

Congratulations to you and yours. I remember my 1st baby very blessed day in our house. You will have many happiness because of this. I hope you and the baby become rich

Awwww! God bless you guys! I'm so happy for you guys. I wish you a successful pregnancy and a smooth transition to be a family of three! You guys will just be a triply cute little family! And Costa Rica is amazing. I had the wonderful privilege to go before I started law school about 5 years ago with a backpacking, eco-friendly company. It was so amazing that I wanted to go back as soon as I graduate. We are around the same age and you guys give me hope that I will have my own family one day. look forward to your new content. @@RuthandThomas :-) Hi yes, I went with Intrepid. It was their Costa Rica Experience, 124730. I was nervous about going because I had never gone abroad, nor traveled with a company but I had a great tour guide (Bryan). I speak Spanish but we had many on the tour that did not. Bryan happened to have spoken great English so I did not see where anyone was isolated. I had no issue going off by myself and talking with the locals especially in La Fortuna and Quepos. I would not have done that in the capital, San Jose. Because most Costa Ricans don't look like me they assumed I wasn't Costa Rican and my accent really gives it away that I'm not a Costa Rican from the coast. I was catcalled a lot in the capital but I was safe and there were no issues. This particular trip was great; I only wished that it was longer and I had gone with a close friend. I made friends from the trip but most were from Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. I was one of four that were from the US and one was from Canada. I think we were about 20 - 25 of all ages. Whatever trip you decide to take, Intrepid seems like a great company especially because they try to employ foreign nationals to give back to the country. I would not recommend this particular trip if you had already had your baby but it may work for this stage of your life. I wish you both the best and that the Lord leads you where to explore next!

Ohh... that would be awesome! We've heard that they have some of the tallest pyramids there and would love to climb them. I'll have to suggest it to Ruth - although I think we're starting our travels a little further south. But definitely something to keep in mind for the future!

Oooh yeah we really like the idea of going to Columbia and had made plans to go long before we found out we were pregnant. WE REALLY WANT TO GO. Unfortunately, because Ruth is pregnant - she is unable to get the Yellow Fever vaccine - so we're not exactly sure where all we can go in South America - but Columbia is on our bucket list for sure!
