We are always looking for the most unique places to stay wherever we go and we think we just might have found it. Hotel Viking is just outside of Reykjavik, situated on the most idyllic fishing harbor. They have put SO MUCH into making the decor, food (authentic continental breakfast with raw fish!), & whole experience immersive. Be a viking for a couple days at one of the best hotels in Iceland!
Definitely one of the top things to see in Iceland, especially if you're in need of things to do in Iceland in winter. PLUS, they have authentic food right across the street, so even if you're just looking for restaurants in Reykjavik, it's a great place to come out for the night.

Hi there! 👋🏼 We're Ruth & Thomas! We met in our freshmen dorm, fell in love training for a marathon 🏃🏻♀️ 🏃🏽, relocated to Texas to work at high adventure camp, got married, relocated to Honest Abe's hometown, & then decided to start a KZread channel about unique date ideas with the ultimate goal of traveling internationally. We would love to go back too! We definitely want to see Iceland in the summer when we could do the full Ring Road. 🤩
This was so darn stinkin cute & unique!! Omg what a breakfast - definitely have to be a meat eater to be a Viking 🤣 Congrats on the baby 🥰💜💜🥳

I'll stay in Reykjavik but I would like to visit that restaurant, it looks pretty awesome!

Iceland looks so beautiful. Awww the snow!! I would love to visit the viking village your dinner looked really delicious. I would have been falling all over that ice. The guy jogging was pretty impressive haha xx

It was an awesome visit! Highly recommend! And it was actually more affordable than you might think. When we went it was around $80 something a night, so pretty similar to a hotel! The snow definitely leveled up the experience as well. 👌
Nice drone shots to open up (I have to say, I will forever remember the day your drone crashed - and the day your Canon fell and broke - both so painful to watch 😩😩😩)... Haha seeing you cross the street made be think of Frogger for some reason...Should not have watched this before going to bed hungry....lamb looked amazing! I did have one question...how was the tap water??😁😁😁

Oh geez, WHICH day our drone crashed?? 😂😂😂 That drone has been through so much. We can definitely vouch for DJI's durability!! And the tap water was incredible! It had absolutely no flavor -- just the way I like it.

@@RuthandThomas Have you guys seen the new Autel Nano? It's under 250g, but has a bigger sensor than the Mini...and has follow mode...but pricey...🥺
What a babymoon! Thomas, did you have issues with this, being a fellow Packers fan? Oh, Wisconsin is awesome with coastal towns! Do Americans automatically go Swedish Chef when talking iScandinavian words? (I totally would.) Lamb shank…yeeeaaasss. (Ooh…myyy…) Third time the charm! Fishy smell? Oh yes…
