Why we must do better than our parents | Thabo T-bose Mokwele | TEDxUniversityofJohannesburg

In the exam of life, if we were to sit down and write an exam on LIFE. How do you think you will do? Chances be you will say I will pass and do well? But you see, I have not listed the variables I will test you on. When I say, have you done well? You will immediately look at the variables of success. Be it your health, your career, the amount of money you have saved or made, or the places you have visited in the world - yes, all of this can say whether you have been successful.
The best way to pass any exam in life is when you have done better than your FATHER.
Thabo is known for his shows on Kaya FM. Music Collector and Philanthropist This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I thought I was doing better. My son committed suicide. There's no doing worse than that.

This is what i understand: 1)Doing better than predecessor/the one before us 2)we need to honor to them or pay tribute to last generation. 3)They deserve to get accolade/praised from us❤ 4)Then it will yeild a teacher or priest or teach a lesson to herd/group of next generation 5) we will get distinctive /regconition afterward 😊 6) as we raise the bar/ set the higher standard for our life 😂 I am learning English /learn new word, then better write out the point and key word on here😂
