An immortal Sith founding an Empire of Dark and Grey Jedi actually makes a twisted amount of sense. I mean he could found a normal Sith empire, but they would scheme against him 24/7 because Sith, but Jedi even corrupt ones would be loyal in perpetua.

The funny thing is that Sidious actually found a loophole in the Rule of two, by taking a bunch of broken Padawan and other force sensitives and teaching them just enough about the Darkside to make them usefull, but not enough that they could be considered a real Sith, also keeping them to weak and dependent on him to rebel.

The Eternal Empire is just an extension of the Sith Empire that engages in double speak to hide its dark nature. Nothing more and nothing less. Also, Jedi and Sith were around before the Eternal empire, and they were around after, so I think that pretty clearly tells who the more powerful is... ✌😏

Vitiate's Eternal Empire force user guard was a work of brilliance by those at Bioware. They drew their strength in the force from their faith in a high authority, and it worked. Bioware was able to connect force use with RPG fantasy priests and paladins drawing their power from a high authority.

But I dont think that Vitiate built Zakuul in just a few months between the end of Shadow of Revan and the events on Ziost. I've calmed down now and I'm just gonna list the words and corrections. 1, the world of the precursor civilization that made the fleet was called Iokath like "I owe Kath" 2, Isotope 5, as in the scientific term Isotope denoting a variation of an element which has more neutrons than usual. 3, the gravestone was made on Iokath as well as the eternal fleet. It was part of some weird war game simulation by the people of Iokath.

Make sense that the Knights of Zakuul are more powerful than Jedi and Sith if they can study both sides of the forces. That would make them able to use forces powers than Sith and Jedi can't use for lack of having studied them. Studying the light side might also make the Knights less susceptibles to corosive influence of the dark side, maybe (speculation) making its use less dangerous than for the sith. I remember Lana saying that the Force presence on Zakuul was particular because perfectly balanced unlike most planets. That would explain why Force sensitives peoples of Zakuul have that particular opinion of the Force (despite having a very creepy and dark mythology) and maybe why Vitiate choose that planet in particular of all the planets in the galaxy to start a empire with differents ideals than the sith. Of course, there was also the Eternal Fleet but he couldn't be sure the Fleet was on Zakuul and not somewhere else.

The charm, the build up, the incredible voice acting. Literally every single person involved with Tenebrae's creating and charcater arc gave 100% of themselves and this is the result. It's what I expected from Snoke before TFA came out, but... Well, we all know how that ended up. It's quite sad to know that the best of Star Wars is in the past and not in the future, and that don't matter what we do things will keep getting more and more clumsy until nobody cares about It anymore. It's a sad time to be a nerd, the twilight of fiction. Say goodbye to everything you love, because people like JJ Abrams are comming for It. Since you know, there's a necessity to change the things you like into abominations. A franchise is being successful for 40 years, but times have changed and It's best qualities are in fact quite inapropriate. So we will change them to fit our own world view... I mean, for the benefit of "modern audiences".

I actually find Tenebrae a pretty simple and uncomplicated villain. He's evil, he was seemingly born evil, and has only gotten more evil as time has gone on. Like, the first notable act he did was kill his step father for hurting his mother then torture his mother to death for betraying his step father, then kill his biological father and rule Nathema. All of this before the age of 20, like, how? Why? Who the fuck is born wanting to rule the galaxy? Even darth Bane didn't start out as fucked up as he ended up yet Tenebrae appears to have started his life determined to be the villain in everyone else's story.

I've always found the Knights confusing to understand from a force philosophical standpoint. Based on the fact that the force is split into the force and the dark side of the force, I'd honestly say that the way Vitiate trained them was ingenious. The Knights AREN'T Darksiders, the way they use the Force is selfless. They're much closer to the Jedi. The difference is, whereas the Jedi selflessly serve the Will of the Force, the Knights selflessly serve the will of Valkorion instead...and he is the epitome of evil in that era

Lots of contradictions to the Sith characteristics here. Yes, the eternal empire is a society of conquerers and pursuing absolute power, no matter which side of the force was offering it or what knowledge they could obtain, but it's a lot less dark than the normal sith. Sure, the leader may have had other intentions in mind, but the society he created was a lot more grey than maybe intended. I have always been on the side of the grey more than the light or dark, and I think the power displayed by the eternal empire is more proof to the point that the jedi should not be focusing on just the light side of the force with such strict adherance as they have up to this point. The jedi knights who allow a little more of the dark inside and don't follow the strict teachings of the main jedi order are the ones who generally end up becoming more powerful and more feared by the dark side than the purely light side jedi masters and vice versa. Emotion is what influences the greater release of power in the force. You can't completely remove it otherwise you take away a lot of that power. But you also can't let that emotion completely overwhelm you, you have to control it, otherwise you can't achieve the desired result and can end up self destructing because you lack the proper focus to take the correct actions in any situation. Therfore, I think the grey will always be more powerful in the end than the light or the dark individually, they just have too many weaknesses that the grey doesn't.

Originally I actually thought this, but now I disagree. Lana proved a Sith could take down a KoZ quite easily and if Sith used Sith Magic on them, the're f-d. To me the reason why the Knights of Zakuul was able to take down the Sith was because of Thexan and Arcann, i'm pretty sure it was a surprise invasion and the Sith was already at war with the Republic so they was already weakened. If it was between a fully trained Knight of Zakuul vs a fully trained Sith Lord, I believe the Sith Lord would win. Using the Force as a whole would weaken the power of the Force? 🤨🤨🤨 I mean, sure, being fully aligned with the dark side certainly make you a stronger dark side user but using both side should allow you to use powers sith can't use because of their full commitement to one side of the Force. At the very least, i think that should compensate the lack of power. Damn a ton of other ships getting blown up bc one of them is destroyed while charging is such a massive Achilles heel and glaring vulnerability that makex using the mass unified attack almost completely non-viable and almost completely not worth using except in the most extreme and dire or most extremely precise and controlled situations. Like if they ambushed another fleet or planet and could deploy the attack before the enemy, ships could reach them or something

Gonna be honest. The first time I was introduced to Valkurion and the Eternal Empire, I thought it was just created by some teenager that got bullied way to much in grade/highschool. To be honest I still think that way to an extent, that this was made to be someone's power fantasy.

Ironic that one of this franchise's WORST an most powerful Darkside Characters had no issues with his people dabbling in "Good" oriented powers an philosophy.. this hints that PLENTY of the Eternals Army or least many Zakool Knights were probably NOT even Evil or even Bad if any lean to the Light or good side.. rather progress and perhaps even to an extent "Grey" Empire depending on whom is in charge of doin what at any specific time, task an place sounds like with their overall Emperor being personally just disposed to being one of the most Evil high lords ever.. But with the study of "Good" or Light side does this beg the question of IF Vitiate would or could EVER be or do Light side anything ever??? From what I understand that's a hard no but maybe evidence of something different exists somewhere largely unknown perhaps I wonder

I know its nit-picking, and maybe there is a journal in game that gives the different pronunciation. However, as long as I've played the game, and as many times as I've been through Iokath. It is I O kath, not I O kwath. Again I know its a nit-pick, but when you got multiple voice actors pronouncing it one way, and it is spelled that same way. I like it when people talking about lore stick to it. Now the more obscure planets and people that don't have actual pronunciations I 100 percent let peoples interpretation through. lol because many times I've been corrected myself.

Okay, tbh I’ve only played the first two KOTOR games, so I have only KZread experience with “the Eternal Empire.” That said, I’m really unimpressed. They sound like a classic example of an over-powered enemy created to give high level RPG characters someone to fight that won’t just fail one saving throw and die. It takes the Republic and Sith, what, like 5 years to defeat this “eternal” empire. Vitiate’s grand fleet looks impressive, but it’s awfully hard to control a interstellar empire with just warships; you need lots and lots of ground troops to occupy key planets, and these great warships had that Achilles heel of blowing up and from what I’ve seen it did not take much to crush this “eternal” state. And then there’s vitiate’s master plan, which is totally insane and on such a grandly absurd scale it’s hard to take it seriously. Honestly the whole storyline after Revan’s final death seemed like an attempt to keep SWTOR alive for high-level players, but never was very well thought out.
