I just bought a silver dial Overseas gen 3 for 21K lightly used. Pretty happy with the purchase considering that same watch was well above $35,000 just a year ago. It’s been on the top of my list for years, but I couldn’t afford to pay premium on it. Watch is pure class, and I always liked it more than Royal Oak.

Cool video, especially that 4300V. Agree with your observation on VC's service, I had so much fun collecting my 4500V in steel and now on the waitlist for the fifty-six with bracelet and overseas full gold. Keep up the great work.

I recently picked up the 4500V Pink Gold / Blue and I absolutely love it.. I never wear my PP and AP sport watches anymore .. all the quality (arguably more) and none of the hype.

Excellent video, all the points you make are valid. I was lucky enough to walk in to a Boutique a couple of yrs ago and buy the VC Overseas chrono with the blue dial, as it was sitting in the display case just waiting to be brought. Now they aren't taking orders for the watch. VC's quality, and service is great. The watches don't get noticed by the average person - which is another great point. I can wear a great watch that doesn't attract the wrong attention.

Thanks mate. The discreetness of the watches is actually such a huge factor, specially these days when the average Joe is becoming more aware of the value of the hype brands. Hopefully VC stays VC 😄

Vc Bond Street edward who was working at the time was phenomenal,I purchased a overseas rose gold dual time and registered for stainless steel overseas,I went back in the store in Jan 2023 and ask chances of pink gold blue dial they said be difficult and long,2 months later I got call and they allocated me one,it’s great wearing and speaking to people who don’t know about watches and they wearing the average Rolex,Rolex does not do it for me unless Daytona and day date,vacheron is for a comments diff clientele 😊

You're right about the boutique experience. I visited the one in Bond St London to enquire about a Oversea's and the staff were really friendly. Made me register my interest and there may be a 2 year wait for one and they will contact me end of the year maybe for an update

Got their break? They are part of the Trinity though they are always on demand, maybe not always talked about but the appeal has always been there

VC definitely stepped up their game. My boutique experience was one of the best, the other brand being AP. My 4500V is superb, but your 4300V is on another level. The skeleton version is one of my grail from VC.

Yeah they’re killing it! They actually know how to treat customers to a luxury experience whilst also having the watchmaking prowess to match. I made a video on the 4500V and both that and the 4300V belong to a generous viewer that let me come and check them out. Him owning both through the boutique is also a testament to their customer treatment. The skeleton is so gorgeous. I’ve got to say I like the case back more than the dial!

Hi, a HK follower here! I'm a fan of your channel and thoughts about watches, keep up the good work. Myself I have the VC Chrono Reverse Panda bought at retail in HK. I agree that the Chrono is a bit on the thick side, but price wise its hard to compare to AP, since AP Chronos are unobtainable at retail. I rather compare it to a Daytona which greymarket trades about the same as the 5500v, from the perspective of what you can get hold of, the VC Chrono is still very hard to beat. Maybe we can meet up someday and discuss watches :)

I really like the complication and the dial aesthetics. Only detractor is the thickness but that's a very subjective thing!

@@StandardTime yeah, it’s a tad thicker than a sub. But to me, it’s negligible. Although one of the reasons I didn’t get the chronograph was that I thought it was to thick (almost 14mm) and to big

The pink gold is the best!

VC and AP is underrated with their complicated watches, so is refreshing to see complication on sports watches. But let's be honest here, this model is in demand now because people can't get the Nautilus or the Aquanaut. I'm sure the VC movement is better but even its finishing, but yet again is also about marketing and image. Unfortunately we going to hit a recession within months, so VC needs to cash in on this new found hype before prices starting to drop and these will be below retail.

Hmm. I’m not the biggest fan of iced out watches. I don’t mind some factory baguettes but they gotta be not on the case or bracelet for me. Only bezel perhaps and as hour markers
