Vacheron Constantin is easily one of my favorite watch brands out there. Unlike a lot of brands in its class and despite its expensive collection, Vacheron Constantin has a more approachable feel and a timeless aesthetic that’s hard to argue with. In this video, we’re taking a look at both the new 18k pink gold Overseas and also a bit of the history of the Overseas collection as a whole.

AP has a version of the Royal Oak that fits the requirements.
The VC Overseas is my absolute favorite. Not in my budget, but perhaps one of these years!
I've always considered myself much more of a white metal (i.e. steel, platinum, white gold) guy than a rose/yellow gold guy, but when Vacheron Constantine released the full rose gold Overseas Perpetual Calendar (both blue dial and skeletonised) earlier this year I fell in love. And then VC released this; the rose gold version of my all time favourite watch, the Overseas 4500V blue dial, and I suddenly realised that if I had the money I'd currently be wearing a watch with a full rose gold bracelet, which I honestly never expected to say.
@williamwilson7857

Understand this, I have Rolex full rose gold, and it is not everyday watch. This one above is same kind of that. it is something to admire but not for every day. It is heavy , it is attention seeker. So in steel is way to go
Teddy, thanks for all the amazing content this year! And what a way to end it - with one of my top, top grail watches. Wish you and your family all the best for a great 2021!
Finally received mine this month and I must say, it is stunning in person
Was very close to buying my second watch but then I found my fathers old watch. Around 30 years old Russian made mechanical "Raketa 2614.H". Round and small - 35mm. Very light blue dial, colden case, date display at 6 o'clock, silver metal band and a little scratched crystal. Love it! Runs a bit badly but I will have it running properly again. So, this will be my second watch. First watch was Casio MTP-1303SG-7AVEF. Bought it for my 17th birthday. 9 years has passed and felt an urge to get deeper into watches. Was looking for Seiko, Tissot, Citizen or Orient. I am not in a hurry. Sometime in 2021 third watch will come.

Dude that dial is incredible!!! almost looks like Wet Blue paint.
My god... I actually laughed out loud during the intro macro shots. It’s so spectacular.
I have to have this watch. I always knew I was going to buy a solid 18K holy trinity piece by my 50th birthday. THIS is the watch. I looked at AP Royal Oaks and the Patek Aquanaut, as well as the 42mm Rolex Yacht-Master but NONE OF THOSE COMPARE! Not even CLOSE!!! Three bracelet options, solid 18K rose gold, 60 hour power reserve, and 41mm? This watch is so next level Patek and AP better sit up straight, take notes and stop phoning it in every year...
This is the most beautiful watch I have seen so far, a breathe of new air after seeing all the PP and APs out there
Loved this video. I especially enjoyed the marathon analogy. It’s refreshing to see that high end of watch collection/manufacture can be talked about without mentioning the “R” word...!
This is my grail watch. I am hoping to be able to get it in the next couple of years. Such an amazing and beautiful watch.

Love the VC Overseas ! Much more than the Nautilus or the Royal Oak. This one in gold is just gorgeous ! The only turn off is the non hacking seconds hand. At this price point it should be a must nowadays. I know that other high luxury brands do it, but still it’s quite absurd.
It only takes a few minutes on wrist, in my case seconds, to realize how under-appreciated the overseas is.

In the event that I was in the position to purchase a Vacheron Constantin Overseas. I would go for the Stainless Steel Chronograph. Some say that a person should not spend more than a weeks wage on a timepiece. I agree with that. Considering that the overseas is not hacking I own a watch that will have to be the placeholder for the VC. It's stainless steel, it doesn't hack, It has a blue dial, Not a chronograph, I set it back one minute every Wednesday since it speeds upp about a minute per week. It's price is 0.5 % of the VC Overseas Chronograph. The fact that VC has been in business for 266 years is so remarkably amazing. In my mind, the Overseas perfectly expresses the understated while impressive look, of a true quality timepiece. Thank you for an excellent video.
This is a masterpiece
I think I enjoy reviews of watches that will always be out of my reach more than most. There is no wondering as I watch whether I could get one, no running to Chrono24 to see what they are going for etc. I can simply enjoy looking at what is basically a work of art up close in the same way I admire Fabergé eggs. The fact that these are tiny machines only adds to the wonder of it. ( I kinda love that it doesn’t even hack) it’s like this stands above such “earthly concerns”. Thanks for a bang out way of ending the year Teddy. #myfavoritechannel

I'm super glad you brought attention to this watch, I've been eyeing it for ages but I don't have any where close to a disposable fund to get this watch.
A stunning watch. Love the brand and the Overseas range. I tried a chronograph version a few weeks ago and found that it sat quite high. This one looks slimmer and one that I would definately consider as the waiting lists on the Royal Oak and Nautilus\Aquanaut put those out of the question.
Beautiful watch. Also, according to Zillow, there are 276 single family homes for sale in Cleveland, OH for less than the price of this watch.

LOVE the Overseas line and VC in general! The 4500V in steel and blue dial was my grail watch for years and I finally got it last month. Absolutely mesmerizing! I don't think there's any other steel sports watch at any price point that I'd rather have. The gold one looks pretty amazing, though I think I'm more of a steel guy personally. Though as someone else mentioned... a green dial Overseas in gold would have the potential of being an even bigger grail for me. Great video Teddy, awesome that you could get your hands on one for the review. Keep it up!
I love the design of the rotor. Don't know why, but that really stuck out to me. Gorgeous movement.
Really love the windrose compass design on the rotor! Such a cool detail!
What a beauty! This watch is definitively one of the best sports watches in the world. Very well chosen. Very well presented!
Overseas and Patrimony are my most favourite collections. Fell in love with the brand first time going to Geneva. Loved my first overseas.
there is just something different about Vacheron compare to the other "Holy Trinity". the rose gold and blue dial is absolutely eye catching. its so bold yet it is still classy as the brand represents. Great review Teddy, so glad i found this channel.
Vacheron has done a súper watch. I AM not a Golden watch guy, however, this is a real piece of art for any watch fan who does not want to go AP or PP. Thank You for the interesting video. Have a happy new year!!
I can’t wait to collect this time piece this end of April😍
I love that watch. Im not a gold strap guy but I must say, VC have done a great job with this watch. Great vid Ted 😀
Teddy, great work as always. I own the SS Overseas Chronograph with Blue dial, and it is a great watch. Understated luxury and class. The history of the coy is great. When visiting my Rolex AD, the staff and manager could not believe how good the watch looks, they loved it and said they very rarely see one on a client. But I like the fact that my VC does not attract any bad attention when wearing it in public. The fact that I just want to keep looking at it again and again - I know the purchase was worth it. It will still look great in decades to come. Merry xmas to all.
Thanks Teddy, I love this watch and are going to add it to my collection. That uncluttered blue dial is superb.
Absolutely beautiful, but wayyyyyyy out of my reach. That said, I always appreciate a review letting me "get close" to such a gem. Happy and safe new year!
If I were in the income level that can afford a luxury watch, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas with the blue dial and rose gold would be it! My only nit-picking point would be that the rotor appeared to be in yellow gold, which was a slight distraction from the rose gold case. Not a deal breaker, but I'm surprised a bit that the designers went in this direction.

The rotor is characteristic 22K gold. With this purity of gold it is not possible to make colored alloys.
Awesome video! Thanks for shining a light on the VC.
Beautiful watch, love the versatility with the 3 included straps-one of the reasons I love my panerai so much. Biggest disappointment here is no hacking seconds on a $20k+ (SS) watch…but I still want one 😄
Great watch! I would love the gold! I think this is the best integrated bracelet watch out there. Also the quick change system is amazing and gives the watch some flexibility. Also the lacquer is gorgeous!! Huge fan of VC I think they're the member of the holy trinity that kinda flies under the radar. This version of the overseas is my favorite, also I'd love the original vintage 222. In terms of future reviews, I'd like to see a review of the Gorilla outlaw drift. I love the star wheel display and this is their first circular case watch so I'd like your thoughts on this. This is one of the few micro brands that are doing original designs and even if it's not everybody's cup of tea, I like the fact that they're doing something different. All the best for 2021.
Thank you Teddy for the VC Overseas review. I couldn’t agree more that Vacheron is a brand that flys a bit under the radar when compared to AP and Patek but this is what makes it so appealing to me. The Overseas 4500v is on my grail list and when I win the lottery I might just pick one up. For 2021 I’d love to see fewer Rolex reviews and more from brands like Zenith, Universal Geneve & Tudor.
The overseas perpetual calendar in pink gold and blue face is just the most gorgeous watch!!! True grail material!
The overseas is my next watch for sure. I’m on the waiting list with the Vacheron Boutique, excellent video, I believe it’s much better than the Nautilas by Patek Philippe and the AP Royal Oak. I really want the gold version, too expensive for now. I also prefer the date only in the Overseas compared to the dual time version. I agree that the hacking seconds should be included and the date font is terrible at this price point. I will end up with the dual time version for that reason. I’m still on the fence on whether to wait or purchase now from the authorized dealer. Thank you for the excellent video.
What a fantastic introduction about the brand, no doubt it’s more than that but you hit the nail on it

There's no getting around the fact that if you're the type to hope people notice your watch there is no substitute for Rolex. It's the only Swiss watch brand with 100% worldwide name recognition after all. That said, if someone noticed my VC (assuming in this hypothetical scenario I could afford a VC) I would much rather talk to that person about my watch than 90% of the people that would recognise a Rolex.
Great video. VC OS is definitely my favorite from the big 3
I have a black dial AP 15500 and recently obtained the VC Overseas dual time blue dial. Maybe I’m in the honeymoon phase, but I prefer the VC over the AP.
Love VC. The rose gold and blue pop.
Too bad, I don’t have $49K in liquidity to acquire the watch. Being $10K more than a Rolex Day Date, I would go for the VC! I’ll just continue to wear my 1982 Seiko Quartz and not worry about being accosted.
Happy new year from South Carolina. I am a buyer and fan of micro brands but I love Tudor, Breitling, and Rolex ( but can't justify $10-12k on a watch) I have been to my local Rolex dealer in Pawleys Island and got a full sales experience trying on every watch I liked. I loved the Sky Dweller blue dial on white gold and $47,000 price tag had me buy a lottery ticket lol. My realistic choice would be a no date blue dial 41mm or Explorer 2 41mm. Blue dial Rolex looks great to me. I am thinking a Explorer will be the Rolex released this year. Thanks for your knowledge and insight. I think it was you who had me get Orient Bambino and Vostok Komandirski K39 warches
I’m with you. I can’t really qualify why but I would go VC over PP or AP 95% of the time!
I agree with everything you've said, it's certainly a beautiful watch to aspire at least in stainless steel version.
Magnifique! I own 5500 Overseas chrono in blue but can see why a simpler one with more dial blue may be equally satisfying!
Excellent review, thanks 👍🏻
