I’m not sure he recognized her. He asked to be given all info on her including her master. He knew Anakin & figured out by his strategy & fighting skills that Vader was Anakin. If he knew who she was, he’d have known who her master was. I don’t think he was scared, but when he finds out she was trained by Anakin/Vader, he will be worried. He will also use Anakins fall in his strategy to try to shake her up. Just my opinion.

After the encounter with Anakin, I doubt Ahsoka will be shaken any longer by the mentions of Anakin by Thrawn or anyone else. I think she has realized that he would have become Vader had she left him or not. That is why he told her that she needed to choose to live.

That play will not work with her. The reason, is Anakin showing up in episode 5, because Baylan beat her off the same angle in the 4th.

Even though thrawn wasn’t really afraid of darth Vader, I bet he was probably afraid of the power that Vader possessed.

@@darylsdesigns6679 Vader used the force to sense his feelings, and he never found fear in Thrawn if you read the book. So he did not have a fear of him, but at least no one that could be read by the Force which is strange.

That was the closest to freaked out I've ever seen Prawn. He was deeply disturbed by the news that Lady Tano was en route. Muhahahaha

I like how Ezra’s been killing stormtroopers and using their dogtags as chainmail; meanwhile Thrawn resurrects the fallen soldier and rearms him lol

I find it very hard to believe that thrawn is the one who is being played here. I don’t think his mind was messed up by the Bendu, I think it gave him a new respect and understanding of the more mystical side of the galaxy. I think it is thrawn who is using the night sisters, not the other way around

He’s deffo afraid of the fate predictions

Thrawn is confident when dealing with logic and tactics. Tangible physical things. His younger self regarded the Jedi as a curiosity. It wasn't until later he realized how unquantifiable of a threat they represented to him and his plans. He cannot logic his way or outthink the very nature of the universe, it turns out. So now, as an older Thrawn, he has a proper respect for the supernatural. He's enlisted the help of the Night Sisters as his counter to force users. That being said, the idea of Jedi and the Force give him a great deal of anxiety, not usually seen on Thrawn's face. It's the one thing he can't really plan for, or control. And Thrawn is ALL about control.

This is Thrawn, We need him to be true to himself. I'm sure Zahn has had a word or two.

I was very confused when Ruhk was seemingly killed off in Rebels given how he ties into Thrawn’s fate in Zahn’s trilogy, *”But… it was so artistically done…”*

Abeloth has tentacles, maybe she will kill Thrawn in the end, maybe this is what the prophecy is about, maybe Abeloth will be his demise. If the trawn movies have him as an Antiheroe, similar to Thanos in infinity war, his movies could show him as the main charakter i think maybe he would learn and choose to sacrifice himself in the end. I would like the idea of a redemption story.

Scared ? Not the slightest, he does not like unaccountable surprises disturbing his plans, so he was more pissed than scared. He barely knew who she was, he even asked his underling about her master, past, etc ... Which is a surprise considering he should actually know here since he knew who Anakin / Vader was.

He knew Ahsoka through Anakin. After all, Ahsoka was the one who invented the Marg Sabl maneuver (she called it 'Belly Rub'), and this tactic was passed on to Anakin, and Padme told Thrawn about it. She did not use Ahsoka's name, but used 'his former Padawan apprentice' instead. So Thrawn will know it's her when he finds out about Anakin being her master.

It’s would be awesome if we can see a live action version of Dathamir maybe of Thrawn bringing these night sisters to a temple there in order to revive them!!!

That has got to be incredibly frustrating, because Thrawns pattern and peace comes from learning more about his adversary -- but he can't know any more about The Bendu he knows The Bendu is beyond his comprehension just like he said--which means that OTHER thing he said might be true too.

The three sisters also a reference to the sister of fate from greek mythology which is cool.

The Two Nightsisters Questions that are dying to get Answered this week are; 1) Or is Captain Enock really a Maul child of one of the New Nightsisters? Say like Darth Maul. I feel like the reason thrawn is scared of ahsoka is because he likes to study his enemy’s in detail before he confronts them, and thrawn has 0 experience or prior knowledge of ahsoka other than the fact that she was anakins padawan

You said jedis have their ways. He has only ever been bested by one person, who is a Jedi, and that's Ezra Bridger. He isn't scared so much as he is concerned and annoyed that Morgan Elsbeth is putting too much trust in Baylan rather than being as shrewd as he is. He is most likely considering whether or not she is an asset or a hindrance. The ONLY moment thrawn showed any weakness or semblance of fear is when Sabine said "you wouldn't know anything about that" when talking about sacrificing for something she cares about. He says "perhaps not" which of course is a lie because everything he does was to make sure his home planet is safe.

If the night troopers are called “night “ they may be loyal to the witch’s and then if they are like dead storm troopers brought back, the embrace of cold dead arms could be there’s.

Never really noticed before until you showed the close-up of the Great Mothers, but the facepaint of the Mothers looks like Abeloth's creepy wide smile. I wonder if the Nightsisters originating on Peridea first served Abeloth, and that's where they learned their magick, but now they realize how dangerous that was, and they want to get the heck out of dodge.

I get the plot purpose and character motivation for her character not wanting another war but more so a meaningful look at why specifically did her priorities change?

@@1234adebayor Ezras last words to Ahsoka was “come and find me” and her response was “I will, I promise” then Sabine and her going off with the Rebels epilogue. Cut to Ahsoka who apparently was training Sabine, they have history yet we still haven’t gotten a lick of information about it other than surface level and we’re meant to care? They went from an epilogue to needing an excuse for Ahsoka to lead a show that’s more plot focused (stopping Thrawn) i get it, but is it so hard to at least give us answers on where Ahsoka was before Mando, what she was doing since the empire fell, maybe a hint about her run in with Luke ect! There’s so much regarding the titular character that’s been stripped away and ignored whilst presenting it as the Ahsoka show, why not Rebels or Sabine since they’re the more compelling leads 🤷‍♂️

The Night Sisters said that it will take three rotations to ready their departure. I look at it this way: 1. Count that day as Rotation One, episode 7 Rotation two, and Episode 8 rotation three = season finale...or 2. Don't count last episode, Episode 7, rotation one, episode 8 rotation 2, and we wait until next season for rotation three. Which will it be?

When Moff Gideon was meeting with the others Imperial big wigs they called it "Project Necromancer." Thrawn is loading corpses on his ship probably gonna see another order 66 with The night sisters turning hundreds of thousands of Zombie Troopers against the Galaxy.

Plus he spent roughly a decade cut off from his galaxy only having contact through the witches, waiting for morgan to buld a massive hyperspace ring with immense engines to bring him back only to have a jedi randomly pop out to where hes been exhiled, it would be pretty annoying and frustrating

The Bendu prophecy for sure is already over. Thrawn is not puzzled by it. He has The Mothers. No idea what the "needing to feed off of their dark magick" is about. That isn't at all what is happening. You took literally the opposite of what you should have. Thrawn dismissed The Force and such in the past. Now he respects and takes advantages of it. Everyone needs to stop. Those troopers are not undead. I've never seen or heard any version of undead armies chanting or talking. They move and walk like live troopers, not zombies.

Is suspect Thrawn is preparing for death and eventual Resurrection. The show could depart from cannon.... in his mind that is logical.

The Night Troopers have to be reanimated don't they? They were Gen 1 clones. They would have all "aged out". They would have needed to be reanimated to be standing up. It will be interesting to see how Thrawn will try tondouble cross the Night sisters later on.
