Why Take The Risk? | Job Security vs Entrepreneurship

In today’s video, we are going to compare the benefits and challenges associated with being an entrepreneur and whether or not you should consider getting an ordinary job or trying your luck in business.
Paul is in his final year of college, and of late he has been thinking a lot about what he wants to do for the rest of his life, after graduation. Growing up, Paul had always been told by his parents to study hard, get good grades, so you can be accepted into a good university and graduate with a good degree. Because having a good degree will land you in a good-paying job and in return, a good life. You see, this is the mentality that a lot of us were told. For some people, this belief is hard to throw away because it’s what we have been told since childhood.

Higher-paying jobs are not the only ones who can work outside 9-5. There are plenty of administrative jobs where the people's day doesn't really end at 5:00pm like it used to. A lot of businesses now take advantage of people. They make people work the job of 2-3 people so they can save money. But in turn, the current staff have to work odd hours. One thing I want to point out is if you like your 9 to 5 job and it is allowing you to save money, there's nothing wrong with that. One of the most important things to do is to like your job. If not, your spending most of your life being miserable. That's why I want to be a teacher, and not what someone else wants. For me, being around children would definetly be better than sitting in a cubicle, waiting for my boss to walk by with my paycheck. People really don't know how hard it is to make profit and be able to personally pay yourself when the business isn't generating much income. Then when it generates more income, they fail to properly have money set aside to pay taxes. I'd rather just do side gigs outside of my regular job or freelance. Having an actual company of your own is not going to make your life more successful. It's another can of worms and you need a support system financially and emotionally to keep it going.

Nothing is easy, nor is there the lesser evil. Everyone works to make ends meet. The difference between an entrepreneur/innovator and a standard employee is that the latter doesn't risk as much as the first, yet despite this, they persevere in hopes of attaining goals they set for themselves while maintaining their happiness in pursuing something of their own interest, hence the satisfaction and rewards. No one is forced to take part or give opinions about entrepreneurship but do not undermine what entrepreneurship can do. Its just that some are more creative than the others and they want a contentful life.

I'm kinda tired of doing the entrepreneur thing. Got thrown into it and I'm half owner of the business. Work on boats in Florida and sounded like more fun then it really is. You have to have the proper tools, makes time frames to work, paper work, knowledge, flexibility, ect. I'm in the state of water sports and all, but constantly dealing with customers with boat they can't afford. So they want the cheapest price possible and deal cuts. Bills are expensive and so are the tools to do the job. The customers also think they have full rights to your time and expect you to drop everything just for them. I got into it when I got out of the Army and my goals was to get a steady life, but it's been a year now and not any closer to it. I just got word I'll be heading up to the border of Alabama to work on more boats for a certain company. Problem is, this ain't the life I want. I want a house and steady life where I don't have to go far. The army already made me go all over the world and that was one reason I left. I'm kinda ready to punch a clock again and just collect a paycheck. I prefer working a 9-5 and having side work for some extra fun money.

Listen we need a collage education to get a good job. To tell people they don't need education to get a job, will increase poverty, crimes and prostitution. Because its not like everyone is as fortunate as millionries or have powerful friends. I believe we need to become self employed regardless of profession, because working for someone else sucks. Why do you think private teachers, doctors, lawfirms are happy? Because they have freedom. People who work in public sector lack freedom and is constantly under stress.

0:19 thats not why they accept students 0:55 that article was a extremely poor study i mean just look at its means of achieving its objectives 2:28 I'd Rather Be an Employer over Business Owners Any Day of The Week 2:30 idk about stress i would say thats more to do with your pyschology of education than anything else 2:45 idk why this story persist of gurenteeing profitability you dont need to have gurentees to have sustainability, they lose money because business owners unknowling participate is fraud or problem ridden people 3:25 simple because attitudes 5:25 omg 🙄 again its not faith people confuse faith for vision its how u see what others dont its not a belief its the willing to belief 7:05 again way out of context diffrrent pyschological circumstances determines outcomes

My reasons as to why I want to become a entrepreneur! 1. I want to be my own boss.- I hate when people tell me what to do, I’m tryna to eliminate that as much as possible in my life. 2. As a (L)GBT person, I always have the idea of being discriminated against because of my sexual orientation. I don’t wanna deal with it I’m tryna avoid it as much as possible. 3. I live the idea of making my own schedule, hours, and/or rules. 4. I want to be more independent. Even at my age of 15 years old about to be 16 years old, I don’t really want to dependent on my parents or people for anything. 5. I wanna help the community with the services I could potentially provide. Yes, I understand what comes with this. RISK! But I’m truly fine with that everything in life comes with risk. I mean I’m taking risk every day of my life, I’m literally gambling with my life, not going to speak on that though. BUT I’M GOING ALL IN!! As long as I got the gods I will be just fine. ✝️✡️☸️🕉️☪️☯️❤️
