I became an entrepreneur when I got laid off in 2020 due to Covid the biggest difference I’ve noticed working for myself versus a 9 to 5 is the mental time factor. I probably work more hours working for myself but it’s way less stressful and way more freedom the only upside of a 9 to 5 is a guaranteed check weekly or by weekly. The downside of working for yourself is you responsible for everything, if your computer goes down you are the IT department you also have to keep cost down as much as you can. Being your own boss at this juncture is the best.

Some people enjoy the stability of a 9-5 job or know that they don't have the necessary skills to be an entrepreneur, and that's fine. Thanks a lot for the video! 👍

I like to be realistic and yes, I did quit my corporate because I wanted FREEDOM of being an entrepreneur. Now I am working from my laptop, but it doesn’t happen overnight and I don’t believe in investing in programs or affiliates to start., I started online with zero costs, zero experience and zero technical skills, and yes it’s possible to make money online from multiple streams. I started teaching, tutoring to get the hang of it, Now I’m a full time coach and KZreadr, and I travel the world, but I tested and tried many things, Just make a decision first and then stay committed to making your dream happen! I can share more , but I guarantee that if you want to make it, you CAN!

I tell everyone who would listen don’t rely on just salaries and do not save all your money in the bank as bank wouldn’t give you any returns. Invest your money and diversify your income on something productive so in the long run, you will be happy with your decision.

I got to know Rodney Hamilton Steve on a KZread video , where I read a comment of his great works. I had my doubts just as anyone reading these now. So , I did some research and decided to give him a try . Today, I’m glad I did as I’ve made $100k working with him. I would advise that you do a proper research when you something keeps repeating so that you don’t miss out on any opportunity as a result of doubts.

The Key to becoming successful, never give up , try and try again until you’ve succeeded. Failing doesn’t mean the end of the road . A failure is one who gives up when down. Don’t let anyone stop you from trying out any investment. Lastly , Fears and doubts kills ,never procrastinate. Just do it for it is best trying than not trying at all.

My thoughts is that. 1. One if you're starving to death then get a job first then allot some time and money to your side business. And when the business takes off can support you already then you can quit if you want to.

This VDO is true statement. I have a business and my husband works 9-5. My business supported the family when he was unemployed. His job supported the family when Covid hit. It works well for us to have both types of job in the family.

My husband and I had a mental health business. It was the perfect stay at home mom's job. My daughter was almost adult age and I dropped my son off at preschool then went to the office and did office manager type work for 2 hours then picked my son back up and scheduled appts at home with him the rest of the day. Hourly rate didn't matter so we were able to pay our overhead and personal bills with this schedule.

I know someone who is a licensed electrician but he keeps either starting his own business or some non-electrician business venture so he can get rich. His organization skills are poor and frankly he would be better off working for someone else, saving 10% of his take-home pay and put it into index funds.

Since I am tired of content like this being shoved in my face through various adds, I might just as well leave a comment. A fair warning though, "rising stars soon to be millionaire entrepeneurs" will not like this one bit. Simply spoken, videos like this one are logical consequence of too much internet and too little actual work. The missiniformation that is being spread here stands on 2 pillars. 1) Idealisation of entrepenuership. It is a fact that you can make it big as an entrepeneur, that's true, but the risk involved is much greater than this video presents it. A good number of entrepeneurs lose their jobs sooner or later and end up neck deep in poverty in depts, good portion of them goes to jail. Majority of them work their lives away for a subpar salary. And btw, if you want to be an entrepenur, you have to be available 24 hours a day, unlike "9-5 slavery". Only a 0.00001 % or something in the vicinity of that number actually experience being rich. 2) exacerbation of "9-5 jobs". I could make a video longer than this one on why regular jobs (or "9 to 5 jobs" as some have taken to calling them) are incorrectly depicted. To keep the story short here are just a few points: firstly, the nature of the job higly depends on whether you are working in a private or public sector. The reason why this is important is because a worker in a strong private sector company ( for example google) can outwage your garden variety entrepeneur any time of the day. Working in private sector though means working for the state, wages vary, but truth be tols they are not skyhigh, still, these are stable and relaxed jobs. Secondly, using the word "slavery" when describing a regular job is the dumbest thing you can possibly say because these jobs are anything but. The trashiest entrepeneur has a tighter work schedule than 9-5. Thirdly, id entrepeneurship is so well paid, how come only a handful of them are so rich that you actually hear of them over the internet? The answer is distribution of wealth. There just isn't enough money for everyone to be rich, and in truth, entrepeneur jobs and "9-5 jobs" pay similar. To connclude, I don't want to crush anybody's dreams, I just don't want people to buy the line of easy and rich life of entrepeneur. There is no such thing as a concept that generates money without heaps of work and stress.

You are not your own boss when you are an entrepreneur. That lie is exhausting. You are subservient to your customers.
