If Feminism were so egalitarian, why didn't they just call it Egalitarianism? Why do they have to name it after one of the TWO sexes? If Feminism were so egalitarian, why do they harangue anyone who is seeking equal rights for men, such as in divorce cases? (If it isn't obvious, and oftentimes I'm not obvious, I'm agreeing with you.)

Armygirlsdad Pretty straight foward. When they say they are equal rights, they mean they are for given more rights to women since they have assigned men as having this system of oppresion over women named the patriarchy. Any mention of mens issues or mens rights conferences threatens the narrative by showing that men are not that privileged, so they instantly shut it down and actively work agaisnt those issues. That makes feminism, at least in modern society, inherently anti male.

Adrian, absolutely and it may even be worse: "let's fix perceived inequality by using LEGALLY ENSHIRNED inequality". What SJW's fail to understand is that while society changes, laws typically do not. Once enrolled, laws stay on the books, totally static, even though the issue SJW's originally sought to fix was already naturally solved by society and thus result in PERMANENT INEQUALITY! Legal fixes to moral and social problems never work, typically result in resentment and adverse, unintended consequences, and are, by definition, based on FORCE.

He had so many pain pills and medications to take. Felt bad. I just do my chemo essentially for my Crohns and take other medicine for it. Social Justice is a religion of peace

True justice contains the idea of merit. And I mean merit in the traditional sense of choices usually emanating from ones character. It contains a moral element that applies to the individual or a group composed of individuals (not a group as a collective, e.g. , a group of people rioting will be tried as individuals). Rewards and punishments are supposed to be metered out based upon the actions of the individual according to an external objective standard which is what the law is supposed to reflect. Social justice ignores such concepts judging (so tolerantly) people as groups regardless of merit.

This video is very eloquently put. Very informative, very detail specific and very factual.

Very well thought out and articulate points. Everyone should listen to this. Kudos RM.

That movie redefined my concept and love of action movies and Bruce Willis in general. My kid was playing Skylanders (if you don't know what it is, look it up - the company that made it is pure genius,) and I heard a character say "Welcome to the party, pal!" Max, you are wrong. They have a lot of things to do with Marxism, because much of discourses and theories of SJW & third wave feminism is a variant of classical Marxist theory of class antagonism, and furthermore have been hugely influenced by Gramsci's cultural hegemony theory and critical social theory by Frankfurt School, both of which are developments and/or variants of Marxism.

Wait, Roaming. I know you Americans tend to bend the meaning of words. But I won't give the social justice warriors, the term social justice. It has been used in Europe for hundred of years and is miles away from what you define as social justice. Your definition is not that far because I also don't want German left parties, because they got crap like women quota and more open borders in their programs. There are many very libertarian socialists and even state socialists that would never agree with modern identity politics, but by making the whole group of people who believe in social justice as "people who race-bait"is not much better than Identity politics in itself :P Even though I do not agree with Marx on the solution, he has a lot of interesting thoughts that are at it's core libertarian. As an example "Entfremdung der Arbeit": The concept of "enstrangement of work" describes that modern day workers dont produce anything whole. You can not say at the end of the day "This is my product!""I build that!" . You maybe tightened the screws on 100 BMWs, but you did not build an BMW. From that idea you can come to homesteading and "smallism" (to keep things small). To me Libertarianism is just a good solution to the actual social justice Problems. You Americans are also very unequal in front of the law, because as long as you got a star lawyer you will win almost any case. Having money be too influential in a court and Your high prison rates. That would be classic social justice problems. There are a lot of people your definitions fit on but there are some, like me, on which it does not :P

What if the rest of the population isn't charitable enough to support those who cannot work? Should the sick or disabled poor people be left to starve? What about severely mentally ill people? What about families with small children - if you starve the parents you starve the children. Either you really didn't think this through, or you have absolutely no empathy or care towards other human beings. I come from a country that was communist when I lived there (the Socialist Republic of Czechoslovakia). In the communist regime, people were obligated to work, *unless they were unfit for work*. Even these fucking communists had the common sense to realise there are exceptions to the rule and you can't *make* a cancer sufferer, severely autistic person or heavily pregnant woman work. But everyone fit to work was forced to work.

Hi Roaming, love your video's, I always tune in to every new release. The way I see identity politics is a mix of classic divide and conquer and then taking one group and making them the scapegoats of societies problems. If SJW's really want equalize society surely it is the right thing to make everyone equal under one set of laws and not be ruled by the past.
