These people use their fake narratives to play on people's heart strings. This is why Twitter shouldn't exist or should be fixed somehow, but Facebook makes money off people's anger, the more people who create this hatred the more they use the platform, but this hatred is also destroying humanity, everyone will just get annoyed with everyone. The future of humanity will be a scary place. Social media rewards extreme views with attention and feeds off it.

I completely agree, except when he faked the fiverr thing, but I assume he was trying to make a video more interesting by faking it. I'm not a complete Skeppy fan, though I did watch his videos in like, 2018. Sometimes I think youtubers try their best to do whatever they can and they don't truly want to be terrible, but Twitter only sees the bad. Whatever the issue is, Twitter is just a graveyard for youtubers who do little things wrong.

Honestly, 80% of the time I feel you can’t blame him. Sure he might’ve faked a mc server, but it’s literally just KZread content, what do they expect. Nothing to hate on someone for. You got to do what you got to do on yt to stay relevant in the algorithm.

just wanted to say, skeppy's career isn't dying or anything like that. sure he doesnt get as much views as he used to, but that doesnt mean his channel is dying. for me, skeppy's content has always felt like the "i make whatever videos i want" kinda vibe. sometimes he gets super motivated and posts videos every day, while other days his upload schedule just becomes nonexistent. it also seems like skeppy doesn't really care about subscribers, becasue there are times especially the past few months where skeppy rarely uploads on his main channel and uploads on his other channel by the name of skep. the videos on the skep channel showcase a lot of videos that are more like the old videos than the hyper edited videos on his main channel. additionally, as someone who is part of the skeppy community, there's still a lot of support for skeppy and such. twitter should be taken with a grain with salt, because, well, it's twitter.

I don't think a lot of creators have come to terms with the fact that outside a few channels most are going to have a decline at some point, they still think it's something completely in their control Just like a TV show your audience will eventually become bored with your content.

It’s always weird to me when someone says a person’s channel is “dying” when they still get anywhere from 500k to 2 mil views per video. Sure he doesn’t get as many views as before but I think it’s natural for a channel that’s been up for so long to fluctuate in views. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds a new series that boosts him back up to 2-4 mil views per video within a couple of months or years

It should also be noted that the main thing that was increasing his views were the $1000 challenges and he used to upload those “daily”, but nowadays he will “occasionally” upload them (mainly because he was bored making them) and still hit a similar view range. So he isn’t “dying” just isn’t uploading as much as he used to.

the thing is yes the channel still get massive views but between there prime and now its very low and they are not getting a lot of new subscribers skeepy even losing some if you look at social blade the channel is not dead but is dying and its not that natural from passing from 2M-6M to a general of 700k maximum 1.7m its a very big decline its to see if it will stop or keep going

I wouldn’t say he’s scamming his audience intentionally. Maybe something went wrong through the payment process. I was a winner in one of his Skeppy event and was paid in full via PayPal. He didn’t upload the event to KZread, but I recorded my perspective of the event and uploaded to KZread (edited though because the event was so long). Also, A6D and skeppy somewhat reunited bout a few weeks ago on his Skep channel. I wouldn’t say Skeppy YT channel is dead. I remember in order for him to get 128 million, he would have to upload every single day. Now, he would upload once in a while. I believed that once he stopped uploading consistently, people would move on to something new. Still, he’s earning a good amount of views.

I had found skeppy when he was first blowing up and the videos he made were always great, but i'd say a year ago it just became uninteresting and it felt like he didn't put that much effort in it anymore. I'd say it all collapsed when Dream and other miencreaft KZreadrs were exploding in popularity, then Skepyy tried to appeal to their audience and then his videos lost their touch, his old videos felt more funny and random, while his new ones are just not funny to me and mainly content focused, this is just my opinion though but its what i noticed for being a sub for a long time.

@M4x3 I would say that's the norm for most channels. It feels way less common to match your subscriber count or even half of it. Sometimes you can do that or even outperform it with channels like Dream and MrBeast I believe that are able to do that, but think of other large channels like Markiplier, Pewdiepie, Game Theory, etc that get a fraction of their personal subscriber count. These channels are still considered successful just because getting around 1 or 2 million every upload is successful. Getting over 5 million pretty much means you are trending and making viral videos. I think the channels that consistently make viral videos like JaidenAnimations, Dream, MrBeast are outliers and not the norm with other large channels usually only getting around 1 million to 2 no matter their sub count.

I think the main downfall of Skeppy was the drama around a6d. The drama around a6d was stupid and shouldn't have even been drama because in reality he barely did anything wrong. How Skeppy went from 120 million views a month to 10 million is a very misleading thing to say. I was very surprised to hear he went that down in views because the way you worded it makes it seem as if for several months he was hitting around 120 million but it was only one outlier month other than that one time he never broke 70 million. On top of that you completely ignore the fact the period his views were that high had maybe one of the largest outside influences on people views being up aka the first summer of covid! By this same logic you can look at almost any youtuber from that time and claimed they have fallen off every single minecraft youtubers views who got big during dream SMP covid era is down including dream himself. Very misleading start to the video Id always assumed you were more fair and honest in your reporting than that.

this is my first time watching sunnyv2 by myself without watching a stream highlight version of it, and honestly i was very disappointed. everything seems to be an over-exaggeration, from the title and the thumbnail to the info given in the video as well. half of the video was talking about the trio and the faked videos, which seem to be well researched and all, but the other half is just...mostly irrelevant stuff? aside from not paying contestant winners (which seems to be poorly researched, skeppy does actually pay the winners, as a 3-time winner vouches in the comments), the rest seem to be 1-time mistakes he made.

When people watch his videos and see all the bad things he portrays skeppy as, they also portay him as a bad person. He felt offended and attacked. His response was obviously a reaction from the mobs, not SunnyV2. Therefore, instead of addressing the haters, he channeled all his refutation onto SunnyV2 as if he was the one who said this and that. Most of the points mentioned in this video were backed by empirical evidence and legitimate sources. Misinterpretation is none of his concern.

I feel like the majority is on Skeppy’s side. Even his response to a6d drama was surprisingly mature. “Im ready to forgive him, but not today.” He is calm, and faces all drama he gets into the correct way, calm and doesnt dig. The dude is good, and his channel is doing great as well.

This honestly seems a lot like Stampy's situation. Stampylonghead hit a decline back in 2015 after one of his biggest "helpers", L for Leeeee, was accused of being a sexual predator. Just like with A6D, it was iffy on whether L for Leeeee did anything wrong, and it was even more ambiguous because L for Leeee refused to actually comment on the controversy and there's very little evidence for anything happening. The biggest difference here though, is how it affected the KZreadr. Stampy began to upload less and his a decline and lack of motivation, until around a year ago when he began to upload consistently again. Meanwhile Skeppy... kept uploading. He pushed through the drama, and yes while his content style has changed, it really hasn't fallen off that much? Like he still gets million view videos pretty consistently? It seems like this video makes it seem like Skeppy's channel was affected more than it actually was.

Lol on top of that every thing listed he did wrong is either a lie or not even bad. He got exposed for faking video but if you couldn’t tell they were faked before someone told you I question that person’s intelligence. And then nearly every other thing listed was people just straight up making things up. So on top of his channel still doing well he hasn’t really done anything wrong so this whole video just feels like mediocre clickbait

This sucks. I used to watch skeppy way back, around 5 years ago when he uploaded daily. I don't care if his videos were faked, they were funny as hell. I didn't mind BBH or A6D being in videos, but honestly when dream came around (I'm not blaming him for any of this) it just went downhill. It's just sad to see skeppy go so downhill like this. 💔

This is why you avoid twitter at all cost but if you do use it avoid replying to every fucking criticism or other peoples opinion specially the ones starting drama. Because if you prove something right they will keep punching down.

@@freewyvern707 highly reccomend him, he has his views still (and to be fair I have simmilar ones so thats probbably why I didnt mind), but on his main channel he does basicly just mad lads for like a year now (basicly a series on crazy people in history, actually really interesting, he did people like Rasputin)

I would like to mention that in my experiences with working with Skeppy (I've worked with him on all sorts of stuff since 2020, and recently I've been working on his events). It's actually been a REALLY positive experience for me. Obviously I can't speak on behalf of other people who have worked with him. but from my experiences, behind the screne's he's a great guy and he's helped me a lot.

SummerV2 is a disgrace to youtube. He honestly is just milking Twitter drama for views just fucking get a life and stop with the loophole logic everybody already knows about it has been out for months. Most of the stuff he “explains” is just complete speculation with no actual evidence even though he claims that there is evidence.

The people who are bothered by this stuff and go thru all the trouble to make posts about fake videos that are harmless are just people with too much time on their hands and no life fr 😂

Most of these accusations are just excuses for haters to bring down yet another minecraft youtuber. I believe that a few of the allegations in this video should be adressed, but Skeppy has over 6 million followers on youtube and, as you can possibly tell, he's not aware of every situation. Sure, it would be nice if he would respond and solve many of these issues, but given his previous actions, which are positive, I think he's only not fixing these issues because he doesn't know about them. He has payed multiple event winners in the past so there's no reason he wouldn't pay for specific people. The bigger your channel gets, the harder it is to monitorize every single aspect that goes wrong and people don't seem to get that. People aren't famous and they don't truly get how devastating and exhausting it can get.

I am not going to debate the actual allegations, accusations and the cancelling and whatnot here, but from a calm, collected logical debate perspective: Do you not see the fallacy of assuming that a person paying event winners in the past automatically indicates they'd also pay people later on? Appears to be quite a frail argument because, hypothetically, me (myself) paying a debt in 2017 for example doesn't indicate me paying debts again in 2020 - pretty anecdotal evidence, imo. "People aren't famous and they don't truly get how devastating and exhausting it can get" - not every famous person and celebrity automatically is exhausted and crippled due to their status. Some take it better than others, and in my opinion even then this feels pretty exaggerative because while voicing your complaint and venting about how you feel about being famous absolutely should be encouraged so that people don't keep it in, you can't exaggerate and say that your life is completely devastated and ruined due to your status when you make six figures a year without even requiring a 9 to 5 job. While I do believe Skeppy got unnecessary hate and this entire drama was quite pointless, bringing actual evidence and subjects to the post is more important than making guess work fallacies. It isn't exactly objectively wrong but from another person's perspective this could look false and exaggerated thus losing even more credibility.

Came back after posting my comment yesterday goddamn sunny he literally disapproved everything you were saying about him and it was kind of funny in the beginning damn now I’m interested to see all the videos you did and get the other side of the creators perspective

For that guy saying he got scammed and didn’t get paid for the building comp event - that event had 10 winners, no one got paid till like a month later. He didn’t get scammed, the wait was just a little longer than usual. I won that event too, it took just a little over those 3 weeks to receive the money.
