The Christian Vlog Family Who Faked A Baby

Ойын-сауық

Sam and Nia were KZread’s perfect Christian Vlogger Family. Their 2 Kids, happy marriage, and impeccable family home was put on full display each and every week for their audience of over 2 million subscribers. So, when they’d find themselves embroiled in one of KZread’s strangest controversies, it’s safe to say that their fanbase was completely and utterly baffled. They’d announce that they were having a baby, receive millions of views in return, then announce two days later that Nia had already had a miscarriage. The impeccable timing of the event in combination with other pieces of evidence lead to backlash and accusations about them having faked the pregnancy and miscarriage for exposure and views. Today we are going to go through the story of Sam and Nia.
This is, The Christian Vlogging Family Who Faked Their Baby For Fame.
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2 XO ❤
The idea for this video was partially inspired by "Primink" who posted a video on a similar topic in December 2018 titled "The Vlogging Family Who Faked Their Baby | Sam and Nia" You can watch his version here - • The Vlogging Family Wh...

As an ER nurse, you’d think he of all people would know that urine that’s been mixed with toilet water is considered not viable to test for pregnancy hormones because of the chemicals in tap water. So it would be nigh impossible to get an accurate pregnancy test.

Buzzfeed and Buzzfeed News are not the same thing, Buzzfeed News used to be a reputable news organization. My first thought as well. Like, if it’s that early, you might not even have high enough levels to render the test positive yet, let alone using pee from the toilet bowl? That would have diluted it to the point of uselessness. That’s why tests tell you to use first thing morning urine, since it’s most concentrated at that point. I’m like, “who would believe that nonsense”… then remembered that most people are idiots. SMH 🤦‍♀️

I didn’t get the chance to say, “hey everyone, I’m pregnant” and then “I lost the baby”. I would’ve been even more distraught, embarrassed thinking it was all my fault. I could never face an audience again with the smile they give every video after. Even to talk about it, they don’t seem like they’re in pain. This is something I’ll never forget. Do you have other kids though? I would imagine that alone would make a pretty significant difference in how one would react. Even someone who would love to have more kids is probably less likely to spend a lot of time mourning them if they already have multiple. I've never heard of these people before so I don't know how likely they are to lie but nothing presented in this video makes me think that it's more likely than not. If they claimed to have had trouble conceiving and then popped back from it like they apparently did then I would find it mildly suspicious but it doesn't seem that weird to me when they already have multiple children.

I had a miscarriage at less than 3 weeks pregnant (same as this couple), went to work the next day. Of course I was a little sad, thinking I couldn’t get pregnant, but because it was so early on, I couldn’t really grieve my child. Because they didn’t really exist yet. When you’re that early on, it is literally just cells. Everyone grieves differently, or not at all. Miscarriages aren’t always painful physically either. I didn’t feel any pain at all. And only experienced spotting. Your experience was not mine. And that doesn’t mean that mine is not valid. Same goes for this couple. I’m sorry for your loss.

Anyone else notice how shady it was that Nia almost got no talk time outside the pregnancy video but Sam was saying everything and Nia was just nodding along as if she didn’t really have a choice? It’s kind of random and I don’t know why but I fell like Sam made the whole idea and didn’t tell nia about any of it which is why nia’s reactions were so genuine and then he told me everything and nia just started nodding along to save face or maybe it was past love she was hanging onto, for some reason Mia kept agreeing with him and playing along but she didn’t really want to because of the guilt she felt for faking some thing so back, idk why it just feels this way because Nia has no talk time and her reactions quickly went from genuine happiness and sadness, to the reactions of someone with genuine guilt.

  • @nissan_skyline

    @nissan_skyline

Are you familiar with how acting works, or the concept of lying. A genuine reaction doesn't automatically mean there's no way she couldn't have been faking it too. And when you re-watch it, she doesn't give a genuine reaction. She never once questioned accuracy or said "are you sure" when everyone knows that the way to use a pregnancy test is to pee directly onto the stick then wait a few mins for results to develop. Obviously, she knows she never did this so realistically, the average person in her situation would be thinking "how did you manage to stick this test under my vagina while I was peeing without me noticing" and display a range of emotions, like confused, shock, suspicion, surprise etc. as they're trying to figure it out. She just keeps the same smile on her face and never even lifts an eyebrow the entire time. Then without stopping to think for a moment, she asks if he specifically used a dropper to get her day old diluted piss from the toilet and immediately believes him without a second thought of whether it's even possible to obtain an accurate reading by administering a pregnancy test this way and not following the directions on the box. Also, the fact that they never posted a video capturing their first trip to the doctor's office and their reactions to seeing their baby on the ultrasound monitor, or hearing its heartbeat for the first time is a pretty obvious sign that the entire pregnancy and miscarriage was fake. Like, this is usually what happens after taking an at-home pregnancy and there's no way in hell that they would voluntarily choose not to film and monetize these moments.

As someone who's been in a similar position as Nia (not the faking a miscarriage thing, god no, but being thrown under the bus by a manipulative ex-boyfriend to save myself the embarrassment or trauma of him berating me behind closed doors out of view), I can completely see this theory as being plausible. When you're trying to save face and go along with things, even if you're normally outgoing you often tend to fall to the wayside and wait for the other person's input so you know what they're leading with, and how you should be following. If she's been abused routinely, she's definitely learned to be subtle with her actions of discomfort or nervousness because she HAS to. It's a self-preservation thing Acting or not, there's definitely a possibility of behind-the-scenes mental or emotional abuse happening even outside of the faux-miscarriage. Like someone else who commented before, 'if you're in a perfect and happy marriage, you don't need to say it so much' That's just my two cents though. In general, fuck this couple.

What actually happened is that she was late to getting her period and started mentioning it to the husband, something most married women do. Thinking that she could be pregnant, he then came up with the surprise vlog idea, and genuinely believed she was pregnant when he saw the positive result. She then got her period and thus they had to make a decision as to how they were going to get out of the situation and I’m 100% sure that he came up with the idea of the miscarriage and she went along with it.

On the buzzfeed article that Sam even spoke on, it strikes me as weird that he outright confirms they never got confirmation from a doctor that Nia was pregnant, yet a doctor told them she had a miscarriage. I don't think they intentionally faked a pregnancy, but I think once Sam found out that the method, he used was one that was not recommended, he had Nia take the test on her own, the test more than likely came back negative, and they figured they needed a way out as she would not have gained weight or shown signs of pregnancy, leading to a far worse outcome.

  • @shark_kisses5153

Yep, you can’t have a confirmed miscarriage (that requires medical intervention) without a confirmed pregnancy. A pregnancy test will still show positive during or right after a miscarriage, too. So which was it…because if a doctor was involved and she needed some sort of medical services for a miscarriage, it was confirmed by a doctor so there would be no need to say otherwise. I don’t believe a word they say. Ifit was just a matter of having a false positive then later finding out that they weren’t pregnant….they should have just said that. To try and save face (and get those views up!) by lying about losing a baby is just disgusting. Sam just strikes me as a con man who wants to look like a choir boy. Gross.

It's a good theory, but I don't think so. A false positive is extremely, EXTREMELY rare. And you won't get one just because you don't collect a specimen right, dilute a specimen, etc. The test picks up hcg in the urine. That generally only appears when a woman is pregnant (or in certain kinds of cancer, some performance enhancing drugs and medications, and a few other sources). For there to be a positive, there MUST be hcg. In fact, most "false positives" are likely chemical pregnancies, where the egg is fertilized, the chemical changes begin, but the egg never implants, and is flushed out in an otherwise-typical period. Most women never know they were pregnant.

Lots of them just exploit the hell out of their kid with almost no repercussion because "the kids are enjoying it". Yea I know many actually take care of their children, but holy hell shoving camera on every single occasion is damaging their children future.

I feel as though the miscarriage was 'faked' but the pregnancy reaction wasn't, they really did believe she was pregnant from the test, but when they found out she wasn't by other means, i.e. going to the doctors, they needed a story to make sure that the pregnancy video didn't come up as faked. Miscarriage. Or, the doctor likely said 'sorry, you're not pregnant, likely you had a miscarriage' or something like that. I don't think they deserved all that hate but there was definitely ignorance involved. I thought it was a common thing to just, not announce a pregnancy until it's been a few weeks/months for this exact reason? (Exact reason being miscarriage/false negatives/positives.) Uh, you've always been agnostic - as that deals with knowledge and it seems you would agree that no one can KNOW if there is or is not a "god". If you are not convinced a "god" exists that makes you an atheist, not agnostic. If you then say you can not KNOW there is no "god" then you're honest - and that's called an agnostic atheist. If you are convinced there is a "god" but agree that you do not KNOW there is a "god" then you are a agnostic theist. If you are convinced that "god" is Yahwey then you're a agnostic Christian. In reality NO ONE can be a "gnostic theist" or "gnostic atheist" as again we can not KNOW if there is or is not a "god" - therefore again you've always been agnostic. So the question is - are you convinced a "god" exists? If the answer is anything other than "yes" then you are an atheist by definition. That does NOT mean you (or I) claim there is no "god" - just that you aren't convinced there is a "god" - just like someone can be found not guilty but that doesn't mean they are innocent - atheism works the same way. So I'm assuming what you really meant is you're now an agnostic atheist where you used to be an agnostic Christian. I'll hope that's the case and say it's great to see another break free of these absurd, hateful fairytales so I hope that's the case. Any "god" that is all powerful can not also be all good - as if this "god" is all powerful yet it watches CHILDREN STARVE TO DEATH I think we'd agree that is NOT all good.

I've had three miscarriages. I assume everyone reacts differently when it comes to the emotional impact. I was emotionally distraught after each one. Aside from the emotional reaction, there is a physical side that isn't subjective. Miscarriages come with a lot of physical impacts to your body. I don't know if they claimed the miscarriage happened a couple of days before the big happy video or whenever. Depending on how far along a person is into their pregnancy, the actual miscarriage takes time, it's painful and there's a time of recovery. Depending on if she had a "natural miscarriage" where her body expelled all of the tissue naturally or she had medication to help move the process along, that takes time. If she went the D&C route, it's a surgical procedure. Trust me, she wouldn't be able to get out of the bed to do more than go to the bathroom. To sum up this long post, there's no way she would be physically recovered enough for the level of activity she has in the video a couple of days later.

They didn’t say they were morally good and pure. In fact that’s not a Christian thing in general. In the Christian religion, only god and jesus were morally good and pure. No one else is. Including Christian’s. You see Christian’s are like every other person on earth, fundamentally broken people. Everyone does bad things. Everyone is kinda shitty. The 12 disciples of Jesus in the Christian religion show this. Each of them are kinda pitiful and bad. I have quite a complicated relationship with Christianity, but one thing I do know is that Christian’s aren’t morally good and pure, and the Bible they worship doesn’t ask them of that. It is sad that so many Christian’s act that way, but if you meet true Christian’s you’ll realize there’s a night and day difference. The whole point of Christianity is that we are broken and flawed, but despite that are loved and will always be loved by god and Jesus, even if we aren’t Christian.

As a Christian, I ask that you please don't let these people convince you that all of us are lying jerks. Because we're not. There is a difference between being Christian and hiding behind the Bible. Please also take into account that there are different types of Christianity.
