We’re still here in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, the hotspot that Travel and Leisure calls the best city in the world. Today, we’re taking you on a tour of some of the city’s top eateries. And if you’re expecting a standard collection of Mexican restaurants, you’re in for a tasty surprise. In a city that’s long been a haven for ex-pats-where about 1 out of 5 residents isn’t even Mexican-the food scene here is just as diverse. So, to truly experience the flavor of SMA means embracing the varied cuisines that help put this city on the global culinary map.

ABOUT US
We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

You hit a grand slam with this one, fam... every single restaurant was unique, with that rustic elegant vibe that I really like, you're in a beautiful city that truly celebrates food, in my favorite country... plus, you ordered lots of mescal cocktails hehe.

husband again - travel insurance may seem like a waste of money when you are young and healthy, ( you are only going for a week or three some where ) all it takes is one little mosquito to bite you and give you DENGUE fever. Happened to me, 2019, in the hospital ( in the Philippines ) for a week and there is nothing the doctors can do except monitor you. ( and collect the daily room rate )

It’s better to be safe than sorry and if you tally up all things that can potentially go wrong, it’s better to be covered. Most of the time if one little mishap happens like a delayed flight, you’ll make your money back on the insurance. And if a big mishap happens like a medical emergency, having insurance will be a life safer - maybe literally.

All of our trips are planned in advanced. We live a semi-nomadic lifestyle so we travel, go home for a week or two and then travel somewhere new. We loved the Philippines and are planning to come back when we do another SEA trip in January. And we’re looking forward to it!

If you return to the Philippines, explore the provinces like Vigan City, which is renowned for its intact Asian and Spanish colonial architecture that is eerily similar to Mexican style. With its malecón, cobblestone alleys, there is even horse-drawn carriages, and rustic houses and cafés, Calle Crisologo dominates the Mestizo neighborhood. similar to your current location in San Miguel Mexico.Love this video,as usual.Keep safe and God bless.

Your views and subs skyrocketed when you visited the Philippines and views plummeted when you left 🤔 RP has a lot more to offer other than the touristy spots that your channel tends to visit. Check out Finn Snow and Becoming Filipino for inspiration and ideas, I guarantee you you’ll get even more views and subs! 😉 Mahboohey 👋🏼
