I wish that wasn't the case :( even with the bugs the security breach lore is kinda scuffed as well anyway and so many things could have been executed better but people have already discussed that. Also I like how PJ sounds like Scooby Doo.

@@THGMR-ox7sd i know, i wish it wasn’t either. i waited years for it’s release and it was a total bummer to see the story unfold so shittily. i cant stand william afton’s character development. the “its just a dream” plot twist is so generic too. hopefully the next game will do much better; gameplay wise and story.

@𝖝𝖐𝖚𝖓 Yeah, no. Don't try to pin the final state of the game on the fans who didn't rush the release in the first place. Come to terms with the fact that the devs screwed up and released a buggy mess, instead.

Kinda sucks that this part of the game had a huge softlock bug on release. In my opinion, this was the most tense part of the entire chapter, so its a shame it’ll probably remembered by most people from how it was when the game came out.

Surprisingly, my play though had no bugs at all. But let me tell you, playing the Musical Memory & Pugapiller room gave me incredible anxiety the entire time.

I’ve seen a hand full of tubers with no glitches in their games.

Honnestly though, for an indie game and how much they tried to make the game keep the glory it got from the first chapter with their secconds release, I think they did shockingly alright. There were a few amature bugs though that I think they should of focused on, but overall they didn't have too many game destroying or ruining bugs. I'd consider it an alright attempt for a game with increased ambitions due to its popularity, and it is not as much of a let down in my mind than bendy,which seemed somewhat forgettable over time (in my personal experience). Maybe just because they kept trying to elongate a story that just needed a good long, but sweetly wrapped up story. I think this is a good learning curb for the developers and I hope they take note of what works and what doesn't before they release the next (or final) chapter of poppy playtime.

Honestly at this point Poppy's Playtime isn't an indie game. It has a huge team behind it that, even before they released Chapter 2, they were already pumping out merchandise and NFTs and shows and whatever

Yep with bendy it was very clear that they had no idea what they were doing or where the story was gonna go. And it all ended up falling flat on its face

At the end, you can pull the lever to turn on the train while you are outside the train. This will make the train start and leave without you. You eventually just noclip through the ground.

There is one major thing that pj does that i wanted to talk about which can absolutely break the minigame. Pj only walks on a pattern and does not go for you directly. So if you just stand by the side and let pj walk past you.. you can then cheese the minigame. I dont know why they chose that mechanic but it was kind of dumb. Its just a bad mechanic rather than a bug. I hope they patch it up soon. If you play the minigame the way its supposed to be played its very fun otherwise

Update.. i was wrong. If you let pj walk past you.. and then you reach an area after pj he kills you. At the final part with the yellow platforms the only thing you can do to survive is let pj loop behind you. But even this way it would be easier to complete the minigame normally

there is this glitch with the grappling mechanic that makes the game unbeatable due to the PJ pugapillar segment that causes the player to zip around the room they are in at high speeds as long as you are grabbing a grapple point

This game is so borked. Finished the pugapillar sequence, swinged over the deep pit and at the end of the room where you look up and pull yourself up. I can't make it all the way up. This game is a mess. D:

I gotta tell it like it is, the developers *DID* kinda give us a heads up about the issues. Makes sense that in a level where a bug is the problem, a bug is a problem

if you just stand at the beginning and do nothing, he even walks by you and ignores you completely. allowing you to wait for him to get to the end so you can catch up without dying

MatPat did this and for some reason PJ was moving at like 4x his normal speed in it it was pretty weird

I didn't get any bugs in my gameplay, so I had a good experience with the game

An important rule in game testing is "break the game." This means trying things you wouldn't expect the player to normally. For instance, standing still when Statues begins, or running to the rocks-if the devs had tried that, they could have fixed it

You know what's more broken than that room? Mob games' ability to hold back their greed

There's also still problems like chica infinite teleporting and Freddy still opening doors he shouldn't (yes there's an invisible wall that makes it so you can't access but come on). There is also the inexplicable story that they made which is like what? The game itself needed far more time than it had to be a good game. Like yeah they patched a few things, but it still needs a lot of work.

Fusion literally went into the glitchy rocks in PJs room during his gameplay and saw him go into the wall 😭💀🤚🏾

Poppy playtime also has issues in chase scenes In the Mommmy long legs chase scene (After hiding inside the furnace) Once you pull the lever the chase starts. In the room where mommy long legs crawls on the wall and expects you to fall down; you can literally stay above and nothing will happen

there were at least 2 things that changed that was in the trailer, like how PJ pug-a-piler's face looked more like a bug's, but now it's more like a pug, it's the same for musical memory, like how there was a flower antagonist but it was switched out for a bunny

Watching Fusion play this, he already managed to break it by getting PJ stuck on the wall when he didn’t know where to go

I think a lot thought you had to keep going forward, myself included. The AI broke the same way. This started with so many glitches that I hope they patch them out, I even got one where I my left hand got stuck grabbing the first collectible and it would not retract

That's what happened to me. I didn't see the handle bars where you were suppose to go and kept going straight and clipping through the rocks. I still kept pausing each time the lights came on but soon realized that it didn't matter if you kept moving in that little area when the lights turned on...

If you think that's a big glitch then listen to this. I was going through the easy tunnel and was suddenly jumpscared by nothing. The best part is that when I re-spawned I was in the beginning area where you wake up with all my progress erased. Because of that I ended playing musical memory three times, whack-a-wuggy twice and Statues twice.

I got one of the worst bugs to possibly experience in this part of the game. And it seems permanent. When the game starts, PJ goes Mach 3 and I can’t do anything about it, not even stand out of the way. He just instantly kills me as soon as he gets past me.

I'm so glad the design is completly different from the trailer

i love how everyone i‘ve seen playing this, saw that pile and thought they need to climb it. they made it really unclear on what to do there

Yeah cuz I noticed that during gameplay (Watched) that the dead end with the rubble pugpillar clipped through the wall and not jumpscaring you and there's another one following you. And its so weird finding a right route the first time.

Fun fact: In the vent puzzle with the green hand doors, you can go inside the room where you normally fall down and walk backwards into the void

Grateful that mommy long legs didn’t kill PJ unlike what she did to Bunzo and the Huggy Buddies

They transformed a cute looking caterpillar into this...THING!!! 😱😱😱

The dev team is a mix of amateurs and veterans. Artist is fantastic. Programmer...lol...

Ah I suspect it also had to do with the QA team sticking too closely to the intended solution, instead of trying to break the game with random behavior. So many of the bugs are apparent only when you don't play the game "correctly"

you can also beat this section by simply not moving, he just moves right past you if you're in the right spot and you can go to the end without being chased

When I saw Pugapillar like in the room, my initial reaction was, "OMG IT'S SO CUTE"

I don't know why people think that PJ pug-a-pillar (I hope i wrote that right) is scary. Like look how cuteeeee it isssss ❤️🐶🐛

I did this on my playthrough (on my channel) and I was so confused. the way this game doesn't lead you on the path you're supposed to go is frustrating.

I just hate how this room is designed. it's fine until the very end. where you are supposed to go is not very obvious and it's way too easy to get stuck on the rubble.

Yeah. They did not explain that you were supposed to go up onto that room. Like... Why would the room continue beyond that, if that was your goal? Don't get me wrong, it makes sense as an actual building layout. But not from a gameplay perspective. Also, I had an experience where, if you don't move at the start, he will just go past you all the way to the end of the level. And I didn't see him respawn behind me either.

Afk in pj’s room. As long as you afk right at the start he will go right past you and you can go through the course at your own pace as long as you wait for him to go past you.

Dude! Literally all gamers got to that part thinking what now? The MOB games thought gamers would see that pipe in which they would grab it and escape but because no one saw that pipe at first they just try to continue but well, so I think this wasn't a bug or a glitch it was just a mistake created by the creators they never think players would try to continue instead of searching for that pipe they didn't design well that level.

Fun fact: when statues started, I was just standing at the entrance, PJ just walked pass me, I then find out he goes in a current path. So I just followed him, when I got the to the part where you break through the glass, it seems I touched him with the hand.

i hate the fact that whenever i try to grapple on a swing rope and pull, it starts launching me in the complete opposite direction and killing me. the worst parts is that every time i watch a walkthrough they don't have the problem. and i can't find anything to fix it online edit: omg guys my bugging kinda stopped and it let me pass the statues. i have a new theory, perhaps when you load the game with high graphics turned on, it lags less. idk why it would do that but the last thing i did was higher the graphics
